Hand/Breast Collision on Gauntlets

Recommended Posts

Greetings.

I'm using idle hands/breasts animation on my character that utilizes HDT physics.

Elven gauntlets and bare hands work fine, but not these gauntlets from the new set I've installed - hands mostly go right through, having little to no "jiggly" impact.

How can I increase collision "box" around hands or particular gloves? I would like detailed instruction, step by step, since my experience in modding is very limited.

Using CBBE, HDT SMP, ModOrganizer.

Edit: I'm on Skyrim SE, pointing out just in case.

Thanks, I'll study it.

(Update of situation)

Seems like SOME collision happens after all, just barely noticeable.

Can I just slightly increase collision with mentioned in the post above tools?

I've addet "HDT Havoc path" to ananta hand pieces, and nothing have changed. In the example provided in the link, contents of "data" strings were referencing xml files in skse/plugins folder, which in my case were absent. But I've found "HandsCollision.xml" in subfolder, so I've referenced that instead.

Long story short - no desired result.

I've tried to compare two .nif files (ones I've attached) to find some clue to what could be missing. Found nothing referencing "collision".

Maybe someone will shed some light.

Afaik, you may have better results by adding or modifying collision spheres for hands. I'm not saavy on the how myself, but if you search around for "skyrim CBPC collision spheres" you should find relevant threads to guide you.

I was thinking about this a little and remembered a little more...

For particular values that might already be in game (and the files I *think you modify to add or change responses) try looking in /Data/SKse/Plugins, for files like "CBPCMasterConfig.txt","CBPCollisionConfig.txt", etc

If you have MNC installed, you'll also likely have files like CBPCollisionConfig_ABC_Giant.txt and so forth, which contain creature-specific CBPC collision definitions.

There's also CBPCSYstem.ini, which has some other associated cbpc config values, although not directly germane to your question. (more for your future use or consideration)
