TentacleBandit Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 I'm not 100% clear if this trait is working properly or just bugged. I tried using it for the first time and I ASSUMED that the person I give it to will as described "Cuckold/Cuckquean trait gives Sims a positive moodlet from watching their partner having sex and automatically makes Sims watch others sex." HOWEVER the sim I gave this trait became incredibly jealous and angry when his partner cheated and did not give a positive moodlet. They also did not watch but instead stormed off angry. The only way I can see this working is if you disable jealousy BUT whats the point of the cuckold trait than? The whole point is they enjoy what makes others jealous or even get turned on by that jealous feeling. So I'm not clear if this trait was meant to make sim watching not get jealous too OR if it just is meant to give positive moodlet - but either way it doesn't work as of now again unless you disable jealously in WW. So if seems to me this trait is currently broken by design OR bugged. I believe the way is SHOULD is like the the official game trait "player" which "Players will never cause other Sims to get jealous, no matter what they do." but in the case of the cuckold trait it should make it so sims do not get jealous when they see their partner with somebody else AND give them a positive moodlet AND watch sex. Like I shouldn't have to give the cheating partner the player trait because the cuckold trait is a different version of the same thing and shouldn't require another trait to make it work or again this was how it was designed and its just currently bugged.
Husk Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 Cuckolds don't have a negative reaction after seeing their significant other have sex with someone else. They like it, but that's just it for them - sex. When feelings get involved, they become jealous, as they don't enjoy seeing their partner get intimate/affectionate with another. As I understand it this is where the confusion lays.
Meaggles83 Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 I know what you mean, it happened to me a while ago. I did a reset/debug on the partner that was getting angry and didn't have another problem. I think there's a glitch in implementation but it's easy to fix.
