lelelehue Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Hi! I seem to be getting a consistent crash when loading a cell with a lot of NPCs. Having NPCs of either gender doesn't seem to be a problem, as the ones in Karthspire don't cause a crash, but when trying to exit to Karthspire Camp it crashes. I tried walking to Dushnikh Yal, it crashes - tho I'm not sure if it was exactly Dushnikh Yal that caused the crash. Winking Skeever seems to have a non-trivial amount of npcs of different races (although keep in mind most of them you'd expect to be there are at the execution in the clip). lelelehue Posted January 26, 2021 Author Posted January 26, 2021 Update: Uninstalled all the Great Cities mods, and exiting Karthspire into Karthspire Camp didn't crash me. However, going towards the orc stronghold just like in the video still resulted in a crash, but maybe 20 meters closer to the stronghold. I started the game again without changing anything. Coming out of Winking Skeever didn't crash me. Going to the orc stronghold didn't crash me, but when I was forcegreeted by the orc guard, I crashed. Also after cocing from Solituide to Reachcliff Cave to go to the stronghold, my hair physics broke. Maybe important?? I guess the crash isn't consistent afterall.

I think I added some mods and it started crashing so often it became unplayable. I just removed Hunterborn and Frostfall (cause I never actually used them lmoa) and the crashes seemingly stopped. So, the issue is resolved, but at this point I just wonder why it was happening in the first place - conflict between SL/HB/FF seems extremely unlikely, so I guess I was hitting some limit (memory, script, something else)?
