ASDFGHB Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 I installed several mods and between them there are 3 mods that break some things in the game that they shouldnt break (mainly bc they are unrelated). For other people they work fine as it can be seen all have 2020 comments that say it works. They are 2 follower mods by Moolgogi and the third is a BHUNP outfit (I have other BHUNP outfits, so it isnt that BHUNP is badly installed). What they break is the following: First when you start new game, the letter document with estrus plugin instructions that should appear, doesnt appear (I suppose the plugin doesnt work). Second: when you go to create character, if you change to female, the female has a different body than the one I selected in bodyslide. Third: if you try to load a racemenu preset, you they are loaded weirdly and also it is interesting to note that the requirement mods for those presets apparently stop being detected bc they are in red. Fourth: many text messages that tell you mods have been detected and things that are running in the top left corner no longer appear. For example, the message that says that organic factions is loading disappears. I installed these 3 with few other mods, also from the same categories (more armors and followers). But these are the only ones giving trouble. Its as if those mods hindered recognition of other plugins Also Loot doesnt detect anything weird with them and they arent overwriting anything else. Grey Cloud Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 If I recall correctly, the Estrus mod can take a while to initialise and you may have to restart the game. Looking at your load order you need to run LOOT on it. You also have a mix of UUNP and BHUNP which is probably why you are having the problems with RaceMenu and presets.
ASDFGHB Posted January 24, 2021 Author Posted January 24, 2021 Estrus initializes normally when those 3 mods are disabled but fails to do so when they are enabled, same with organic factions and many plugins. This also happens with racemenu presets and their requirements, racemenu presets work and their requirements are detected when these mods are disabled but not when they are enabled. I dont think it is that it takes longer, bc I have waited until you arrive to Helgen in the beginning and design your character and nothing initialized. Having UUNP and BHUNP mods at the same time has not been a problem at least until now. In fact BHUNP is fully compatible with UUNP bodytypes and also outfits, it is written in the nexus page. I also want to add that those 3 mods were installed after Mora the living grimoire mod so there are mods that are added afterwards causing zero issues (in fact, one of them is an outfit).
Grey Cloud Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 If you say so. There is a difference between BHUNP being compatible with UUNP and running both at the same time. If you are convinced it is these mods causing the problems then either go to the support threads for those mods or get rid of them. It is not a Skyrim technical issue. You still need to run LOOT on your load order.

(yes, I tried enabling them one by one) So I think it doesnt have to do with those mods but with my game. I agree it's not as severe as game crashing/not starting but this can prevent me from installing mods in the long run, since I detected it now I want to try and know the cause. If it can be solved OK, and if it cant well I'll have to live with that. Im not running UUNP at the same time as BHUNP. I have BHUNP outfits and UUNP outfits and presets installed. As you can see BHUNP is early in the load order I've been installing UUNP outfits and presets for a while and there was no problems. I used loot to check for requirements not being installed, master files being after a mod that needs them, corrupt files, ... Everything is ok If you mean that I need to use the auto order feature of loot, I used it once but it disordered the modlist a lot. I opted for not using it again bc the order I was using worked fine.

So you used the Load Order Optimisation Tool for everything except optimising your load order? Smart move.

ASDFGHB Posted January 25, 2021 Author Posted January 25, 2021 New info, I was searching this as a mod issue. When I searched it as a Skyui issue I found similar cases but not the same as mine. MCM menu shows empty when before there were mods there. The command setstage SKY_ConfigManagerInstance 1 is used to force SkyUI to reread files but the game says SKY_ConfigManagerInstance not found. So either the command was changed to another different wording that I cant find or SkyUI is not starting/working as it should be.
