DevilKitty Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 I've tried removing mods, adding them, load order is handled mostly by loot except when Vortex has me resolve conflicts. I have all the basic mods required to make sure the game runs smoothly and have kept animations to a minimum. It's not just random NPCs effected, I found out yesterday that Eorlund Gray-Mane is severely effected and it has made going anywhere in Whiterun more difficult because I can't see where I'm going at certain angles. I can give my mod list/load order if needed. Thank you in advance for any help.
27X Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 The _0 nif and _1 nif on any npc with this are different. They should be identical in polycount.
DevilKitty Posted January 22, 2021 Author Posted January 22, 2021 Mind giving a little more info? I'm not going to lie, I don't know what I'm doing with a lot of that stuff. I don't create mods, I just use them and occasionally convert with Creation Kit or clean them with xEdit. And of course fix load order with LOOT. Is this also a nif problem? All of the female Companion NPCs have this going on.
DevilKitty Posted January 22, 2021 Author Posted January 22, 2021 There are no files in my SSE mesh folders pertaining to NPCs. I have checked every folder in the containing nif files. I am assuming the problem lies with armor and there was nothing there with npc in the name.

I suggest a shit ton of reading on correct ordering and mod priority in your immediate future. A skeleton should be the last thing in your load order besides bashed patches. Without exception. 5 hours ago, DevilKitty said: problem lies with armor Armors also require two identical nifs for each weight range, just like bodies.
DevilKitty Posted January 23, 2021 Author Posted January 23, 2021 Loot wasn't placing it at the bottom like I thought. I check the load order every time I run loot which is every time I add a new mod. Somehow that slipped past me. And though I am new to modding Skyrim, I new it was different than TS4 so I googled all information available before even attempting it. Most of the information said that LOOT order, it didn't. Hopefully this fixes the problem.
