Yeah, i know.... the first thing people think about, is "normal" gameplay, and then "sex"..... but i find it a bit surprising, that given all the effort that has been put into "adult"-content for oblivion.... i haven't ever seen a mod that lets one just kiss or hug an npc or companion? I dunno, feels a bit "imcomplete" to me. Or did i miss the obvious? And i don't mean overly complicated pose-mods... they may already have the neccessary animations, but i don't want to go through a complicated interface and setup procedure, just to kiss or hug some NPC..... just as i don't want to do the same to fuck him/her. Does something like this exist for oblivion? I'm fine it if completely ignores context (i.e. disposition)... i basically just want a simple "point and click/push" "emote" to complete my armory. Or just a dialog option.

Although this is the Oblivion section, I'll point out that such things have been very rare in Oblivion for years, Sadly Skyrim is unlikely to be any different.

For whatever reason, many gamers don't seem to grasp the concept of intimacy (sad smile).

It's hard to animate intimacy without it looking stilted unless you have the tools and/or experience.

I completely agree with both of you.  While it is more than possible to create the animation, that is just not enough without creating the right context for it to be meaningful.  Creating that proper context requires a really creative mind and is very rare indeed.
