Trouble Shooting WW Penis/Pelvis Overlays

I posted in here not to long ago about a similar problem for a friend who just started modding his game with WW and it's additions. Some how he figured out a way around it, and I only got one response telling me that BB is 'broken', but my friend is using the BB mods just fine. However, I'm not back to having the same issue; White pelvis/penis. I have figured out I can apply a pants or skin overlay that fixes that problem, but turns the penis pitch black now. Or with a couple layers of overlays bring it to a sort of dark washed color or sometimes sort of patchy, like it has a rash.

I'm not sure what to do and I can't seem to figure out how to fix the problem and I'm getting very frustrated and I just want to play the game with my mods installed. Is there anything someone can suggest?

EDIT:: I even took out the BB folder and nothing changed. Still white pelvis before I put something on, then matching pelvis, black penis. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, please help.

You probably have some duplicate/conflicting/outdated files in your Mods folder.

"White penis" is often a texture conflict and "black penis" usually comes from a missing texture/incompatible skintone, from my experience.

To find out, what is causing these issues, you need to test your mods - but luckily not all of them.

First, find any skintones, custom skin overlays, body parts (not just penis models, ALL body parts), and all files associated with them. Move all of them outside of your Mods folder (e.g. into a folder on your Desktop) and delete "localthumbcache.package", found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4". Now, you should only have WW's default stuff in your game, so start the game and look for any issues with black/white/odd penis textures.

If everything works fine, close the game and add some of the removed files back into your Mods folder. Pay attention to things like an extra skintone package for certain penis models or different versions of the same body part (like different penis sizes), as these need to be kept together, and remove any duplicates you might find. Delete "localthumbcache" and test again. Continue like this, until you run into any issues.

If at some point an issue arises, you'll know that it is caused by one or more of the files you added last, so inspect those more closely. If possible, split the batch into smaller groups for further testing, otherwise (e.g. if it's just two different sizes of the same penis model) look for an update or a potential replacement. If none can be found, remove those files permanently.

If you can't get it to work right at the start (i.e. after you moved all the body parts, skin CC etc.), you'll have to test ALL of your mods as described above. Start with only WW in your Mods folder, then add other script mods like MC Command Center first for some quick progress.

That's probably what I'm going to have to end up doing. Which I've been dreading, because it'll take a lot of trial and error, which is tedious.

I'm no stranger to doing it, but I was hoping it was just a missing file or something simple like that, but I'm not that lucky.

Thank you for commenting, you confirmed my fears and also my thoughts on what I'm going to have to end up doing. I just need some proper sleep before I do it.

So again, thank you.
