Using Schlong from custom race with vanilla races?

I am trying to use a custom schlong (BD ungulates) with vanilla races, but MCM tells me "schlong not available for this character's race and/or gender." Is there any way to enable these schlongs to be used with vanilla races? Or vice versa? Thank you!
