WickedWhims bugs sims and free will option

Hey, I'm using the up to date WickedWhims mod version and animation packs from their website. When I invite sim over my parcel they leave it immediately when they arrive, telling me that they have to leave. Moreover sims with free will often do nothing (just staying at one place anc staring at the wall :P). My GF has the same issue with the Festivals - when she goes there, there is no sim. Deleting the WW mod fixes it.

What is your game version?

1.69.59.1200 and WickedWhims v162f (last available version that should work with 1.69.59.x

I can see the small glitch with the mailbox as well. The postman tells me that they can reach the mailbox, but it is next to the house

Make sure the mailbox opening is facing left or right and not blocked by another object or the house.

Or try replacing it.

 

Any other mods in use?

 

When testing Wicked Whims, or any other mod, you should test it alone without any other mods installed to make sure it's not 2 mods fighting each other.

 

In your case try removing all mods except for WW + Animations.

Then delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder.

Load game and test again.

 

WW shouldn't really change how the games free will works as it only adds new things for sims to do.

 

If it's still not working try doing an Origin Repair next.
