You can do that for every mannequin in the game one at a time OR you could go to Nexus and download this and fix them ALL at once.

I remember when I 1st discovered this glitch. I finished dressing up a mannequin in my home, walked away, used "wait" for whatever reason, turned around and AHHH!

I'm not one to scare easily, but for some reason I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw the mannequin standing directly behind me.

ROFL, That would have scared the living hell out of me as well. However, that would make for a fun Halloween inspired house where the mannequins follow you randomly.

yeah that happened to me once too but the mannequins were walking around like they were somehow attached to an NPC file, I tried to talk to them but they were silent..

 

I call it "ghosts in the machine" LOL
