TheTraveler Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 SO, after deciding to reinstall skyrim because of a script issue i couldnt resolve, I need help. I use the ADEC body type and need matching face and body textures so there is no neck seam. I dont remember what weird combination of mods i had before but I had no neck seam prior to my reinstall. So does anyone have suggestions for which textures produce no neck seam? I tried the mature one for CBBE and it has no neck seam but of course it has strange graphical issues wince its a CBBE texture on an ADEC body. after some trial and error and almost totally messing up the game i managed to get back to a body and texture with no hand and foot seams but still have a neck seam. I know that UNP and CBBE body types have textures that erase the seams but ADEC seems to have none that do the same. unless im wrong.

From my experience so far no neck seam for its default texture, or even when combined with Sporty Sexy Sweat body texture or the regular sporty texture I found a somewhat decent screen showing my characters lack of neck seam.
moomore Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Does the neck seam persist both indoors and outdoors? I had this issue and one of the problems was that certain ENBs, especially those in the .150s, caused neck seams to appear outside. The other problem was the lack of ADEC support from the face mods i wanted to use. If you can still find it, Fair Skin Complexion had an ADEC patch for various faces like envision and univision. I can look around later to see if i still have any before it was taken off the Nexus. I've since moved on and the current stopgap measure I'm using is Calientes Texture Blender. I basically took ADEC textures, overwrote it with Girls of Skyrim textures(CBBE) and blended the head. I can still see some minor discoloration seams if i try really hard but it's hardly noticeable especially considering the lack of effort i put into it. If you ever have the patience, you can try this.

Fair_skin_complexion_for_ADEC_3dot2-19666-3-2.7z - 17.7 Mb I'm pretty sure this was the face used. Univision face though. FSC_for_CBBE_v2_Moderate_univision_patch-19666-2-0.7z - 5.0 Mb Fix for lines on skin FSC_Lines_on_Skin_Fix-19666-1-0.7z - 0.4 Kb That being said, radioragae's perfect neck seam is quite fantastic.

So far that and the now gone fair skin mod with its assorted neck patches for corresponding faces were the only way I've ever seen to fix the ADEC neck seam....but again it's gone and I'm pretty sure it still had problems for NPC neck seams when it was around. Are you trying for a specific set of mods or is all you care about removing seams?

If I had been of sound mind and not pissed off when i reinstalled i would have saved the screenshots and posted them so people could get an idea of what i was using. I was more concerned with the neck seam but I wanted to use a different mesh? i think is what i'm trying to say. like http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32329 for ADEC. but im afraid if i do i will hav a neck seam. The armors I have added usually have the neck being exposed for aesthetics.
