What I would like to role-play is an older female teacher, a school principal, who for whatever reasons after retirement starts an onlyfans account and ends up trying a career in porn. The Sims 4 world is huge and I'm kind of lost about which dlc's and mods (wickedwhims for sure) I'd need for this idea of mine. I'd also like to know if this game is suitable for it or I'm mistaken. Advices and tips will be greatly appreciated and your kind souls will be no doubt rewarded in the afterlife.
arillis Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 I kinda own all the DLCs so I don't know which ones you need most my suggestion is Go to Work For your roleplay though you definitely need AEP_Pornography mod.
Scorpio Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 Most all of the EA Careers in game are just 'rabbit holes'. Your player just goes out the door and vanishes for 8hrs or whatever and returns home. So you can't actually role play a teacher very well. But retirement and porn careers are doable with mods. Many ppl play fantasy or other challenges for fun too. One I like is starting from broke and living off the land collecting free stuff and gardening for starting income and no Career. Collect 500 points from doing Whims and get your reward trait 'Always Welcome' and you can visit other sims homes and mooch, sleep, shower, etc. You can watch some of the lets play Sims 4 'rags to riches' on youtube. Some mods require certain DLC's and I think AEP needs both Get to Work and Get Famous. Best to read the requirements of the mods before downloading. Optional WickedWhims Sex Clubs requires Get Together EP but isn't needed for the other WW features. (But the DLC also adds a nice big town, DJ's, Dancing, Nightclubs, etc., so it's one of the better ones to get later on anyway) (I also like some of the features of Spa Day) Real Booze, plus optional drugs and smoking require Basemental Drugs Mod. Nisa's Wicked Perversions Prostitute mod requires Wicked Whims. Base game is cheap year round but you probably missed the 50% off sales over the holidays. Different times of year when DLC's go on sale is the best time to get them. I use a free Origin account to buy mine and some prefer Steam. Cheap entertainment when stuck at home/retired.
sexicindi Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Zerbu has mods to turn rabbit hole careers into active ones. He has mods Turbo Careers and Go to School if you want to actually build a school and roleplay in it, those mods will add gameplay to the school building. I suggest for you to buy Get to Work for career stuff and Get Famous for movie star stuff.
