Szlordrin Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 Hi animator's I was hoping for some help getting started. I have watched few guides. But I seem to run into inconsistencies and implied information everywhere I turn. So i'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. I've installed 3ds Max, I have havoc content tools installed. I use ModOrganizer2 (If that matters) Starting the program up, I'm stuck on how to import 32XP skeleton, or maybe Baka's 3BBB sekeleton. Basically want to use all the bones these guys are using. But I'm not sure on how to go about it? I'll take any advice I can get, links, DM's, articles... anything specific.
Vader666 Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 To import a skeleton you need the niftools plugin for your version of 3ds max. Then just import the skeleton.nif. However to create animations you should use an animation rig which the game skeleton is bound to. Something like this Those are typically either normal 3ds max scene files or saved as .fbx, so you just open or import them. Have you looked here too ?
