keepsakeangel Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 Skyrim crashes if I load certain saves. I have ~150 of them and if I load the most recent ones it crashes. If I load an old one around 120 and then load a new one at 150 it loads, but is unstable If I load an old one before 120 like 100 or anything lower it crashes when I load 150. If I load 120, then 150, then an older save lower than 120 it crashes. I've added and removed mods, but the only ones removed were populated skyrim legendary and book of uunp. Climates of tamriel and lawbringer got reinstalled with different settings. None of the installs/reinstalls match up with the times that saves stopped being loadable. Load order generated with loot and changed a little bit according to some of the mod pages. I didn't clean and of the dirty plugins. Papyrus logs don't generate when the game freezes or fails to load. A pattern I noticed was when I went to Winterhold the game started getting weird. That's the around save 120 mark. I can load saves before then, but when I loaded before Winterhold and skipped it the saves are still funky.
