Sexlab Strip Editor Save Bug.

So, recently started a new playthrough on SSE (obviously) and having converted quite a bit of clothing over to esl flagged esp's, I came across a bug only referenced once here, from what I could find. Evidentially, if you're using the Strip Editor to set clothing for remove/never remove prefs, you cannot save your changes if the item is sourced from an esl flagged ESP. 

 

I mean, the obvious workaround is to simply set things on each load of a save, but that's sort of annoying. Is there a way to fix this? Or is there a patch for this? Was this ever looked at?

Just an addendum here: 

 

In looking at some other mods, such as Sexlab Adventures...Adventures seems to keep clothing items contained in ESL flagged items just fine if you select them as skimpy. So it's pretty clear you can pull a formID from an ESL for this purpose. So, clearly...and if someone with some actual technical expertise could chime in here...the ability to do this exists, I do not know enough about scripting/storing in this instance. 

 

It's not a huge thing, just an annoyance. I'm guessing there's a way to handle it, it's just a matter of finding it.

I can confirm this for LE version as well. Once you save an outfit for "never remove" for example, then you can NEVER export the setting default "---" or "always remove". Everytime I import the sexlab settings the outfit will always be set to "never emove".

 

Only solution till now is to reset the strip item registry and then export the sexlab settings. But this also means having to set all strip overrides again from scratch.

On LE, perhaps. 

 

The issue on SE was actually wildly different. The version of PapyrusUtil I was using was out of date, resulting in Sexlab not saving any item in an ESL or an ESL flagged ESP. Updating to the latest Sexlab and Papyutil solved this issue for me.
