Incest interactions available, but incest is disabled.

My game and ww should both be updated to the most recent versions (i just checked) and none of the sims involved have the "incest" trait. I don't really know how long I've had the problem, but I'm pretty sure it was working correctly before i downloaded the ww update. (global incest switch is turned off)

I assume you're using the public WW version and not the Patreon version.

Sounds like something got stuck or corrupted.

MC Woohoo also has incest but it shouldn't affect WW sex.

 

You could try moving all your mods to desktop in a temp folder but leave the resource.cfg file alone.

Delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder.

Load game but only up to the map screen and 'save as' 'testing' or whatever, then exit game.

Delete the localthumbcache again.

 

Re-install WW + Animations only and load the test save you just made and load your active household for more testing.

Don't make any new saves with mods removed for testing just exit when done.

 

If problem is gone now than it was either a bug or possibly one of the other mods you removed.

Loading back your other mods should determine if it was the issue or not.

im at the testing phase, and the problem is still there. WW tuning, scripts, and animations are the only thing i have installed right now, just like you said. (and yes it is the public version) (thank you so much for helping)

 

EDIT: earlier, i noticed that when i turned the global incest switch ON there would be no popup, but when i turned it OFF again i got a popup saying i need to restart for the setting to take effect (i tried restarting and the problem was still there). with the testing save, i tried turning the global incest switch on, restarting, turning it back off, and restarting again... but it didnt work. still broken.

 

EDIT2: creating a new save fixes the problem... but i would still like to try to recover my save if possible. is there anything else i could try?

2 different methods

 

1. Move all your Mods to desktop but leave the resource.cfg file alone.

Delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder

Load your old game save but only to the map screen then 'save as' 'testing' or whatever, then exit.

This will be the new cleaned old save you load next time.

Delete the localthumbcache again.

Move your mods back into game and load the testing save you just made and load household for testing.

 

If  #1 doesn't work try # 2

 

2. Look in your Saves folder and move the WickedSaves folder to desktop

Delete the localthumbcache.pkg

Load old game save normally and test again.

(Note: you will loose your original WW settings and sims with WW traits/attributes you had before and need to go through them all over again)

(Using MCCC cheat mode you can add them back to sims easily)
