SouthernGorilla Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 I have one sim who reverts to her Lego hair every time she gets in the tub. I can't find any way to control this. I thought it was a problem with the hair, but it happens with more than one style. Seems unlikely that one sim would get multiple bad hairs while other sims got none. Haven't found anything posted about this, didn't know if it was a known issue or if someone might have some idea how to fix it.

Scumbumbo's Outfit Tools mod works for this: https://scumbumbomods.com/#/outfit-tools-copy-any-outfit/ The commands to use this are a bit tricky though and it's easiest if you can select the active sim first. Then you need to edit them in CAS and add a third outfit to formal category, (MCCC using fullCASedit cheat enabled works best). Remove clothing and shoes and add makeup, hair, tattoos, etc., switch them back to everyday, then exit CAS. Open cheat console by ctrl+shft+C then type the command: outfit.copy f 3 b 1 include M H T (note the single spaces between the numbers and letters) (this copies the 3rd formal outfit you just made in CAS to the bathing 1 outfit). (if it works you will see the sim change into bathing outfit after you type in the above command and they will become naked) After you test to see if it works you should go back into CAS and delete the 3rd formal outfit you made or that sim might decide to wear it in public later on. MCCC will allow you to edit sims career outfits as you will notice they usually don't retain your makeup, lashes, or cc hairstyle either. Easy if you control the active sim as they have to be selected to work. If you want to do this with NPC's and Townies too you will need another mod named 'Control Any Sim'. You can take control of any sim in game to make them a temp. active household member. Just click on any sim, select Action/Control Sim and remove them from control the same way. https://modthesims.info/d/634595/control-any-sim-v1-2-2.html But the command is: sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas (this loads CAS to the hidden career outfit to edit as you wish)

Man! That is a ton of helpful information. Now I'm going to go bonkers and tweak every sim in town. No more boring black scrubs for the bartenders. I'm one of those weirdos who enjoys tweaking games more than actually playing them.

It's not working for me. I tried copying outfits from one category to another, but nothing changes. Also, do we have all the abbreviations for the categories? Is it "e" for "everyday" and "h" for "hot weather"?

Need spaces in between each letter. Not sure if the order makes any difference but I use M H T
SouthernGorilla Posted December 13, 2020 Author Posted December 13, 2020 I had testing cheats on. It didn't work until I installed the mod.

I am sure I was being exact with the syntax. It's a single line, not like I'm trying to copy a Shakespearean soliloquy. It did not work until I added the mod. Now it works just fine.
Gerry100 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 The problem for me is that it's working but it doesn't save it? How can I save it so whenever I start the game I don't need to type the commands again?

Those changes should be saved with other normal sims makeup, hairstyles, etc., as long as you save the game after editing them. You should only need to do it once. If you're using a regular cc skin it might overwrite makeup and body details which is why I only use non default skin overlays instead. Are you using any default cc that might overwrite it when game loads? It's possible another mod/cc could be preventing data saves or overwriting the changes.
