Just exclude Mayor McDonough from Player approaches

It seems like every time I get to the Dimond City gate and the scene with Piper begins some mod forces Mayor McDonough to approach the player and breaks the "Story of the Century" quest.

You can also try disable mod that forces this

Yeah but I always forget.

The thing is it's something that breaks a companion quest for the main game. Piper no less. In fact I would exclude Piper and McDonough until "Story of the Century" quest completes.
