i also should not that i have my bodys saved as mods due to the tutorial i watched doing so

It will be my impression but, all those who use MO2 find themselves with trivial problems, which should not even exist. It also amazes me that you continue to use it . 

To which the trivial question. why not change ModManager?

It could be more something i am doing wrong rather than the mod manager i use, it also took me incredibly long to figure out the basics of mo2 so i feel like switching would just be more of a setback trying to figure a new one out

I've been using it for some time, then I found NexusModManager, and changed.

However, that's not the point, rather let's take care of your problem.

If it helps, I, my Modmanager, installed it in the game directory, and, still in the same directory, I made him install the mods.

I think I read somewhere that MO2 does not install mods in the game, but rather somewhere else. What is the trick here?

i don't know exactly how bodyslide works but i set the directory to mo2's overwrite file

Use Vortex and save yourself alot of trouble. There is a video tutorial on youtube i think his name is Gopher. Easy to follow and the same day you will install all your mods.
