Can't login to launcher (already deleted internet cache) -Help?!

I tried disabling my antivirus. I was logged in to the launcher earlier today, before I put Origin into offline mode. But I've returned it to being online already. I downloaded the origin client app to make sure that was up-to-date. I deleted the .Bin file in the Sims/Downloads folder which some had suggested and gets rebuilt every time you launch the game. None of that helped. I made sure I was logged into EA, Origin, and Sims 3 websites...  didn't help. I've read about this problem on forums going back about 10 years or more. It's so frustrating because I can't download Dragon Valley Gold Edition which I paid for because of this. Help?!
I also called Origin support and, though nice, had no idea what to do. I tried changing my EA/Origin/Sims3 account password (which I believe is all unified into one) and that did not work either.  :  \
I tried removing all custom content and mods, even doing a fresh installation but that also didn't help. I thought maybe I'd somehow put the Sims 3 game or launcher itself into offline mode. I launched the game and at the first menu it almost looked like I could log in. But this didn't help the launcher which still locks me out of signing-in and downloading Dragon Valley Gold Edition.

Origin

You probably need to try to contact Origin about what sounds like an Origin issue.

I did talk to their customer service for several hours twice. Nothing worked. I think it's a server-side issue with my password is my hunch. (I've seen it happen once before but maybe not in this case. ) I'm hoping that these instructions fix it (though I've already tried disabling the EA folder in Documents and letting launching the game re-build it).

Launcher won't work, TS3.exe won't work either, launching through Origin won't work either.... - Answer HQ (ea.com)
The MsInfo.txt exported error message with Sims3:

I was able to tell it to start downloading Dragon Valley Gold content at the main in-game menu. It doesn't seem to be downloading although it added them to queue under the Downloads button in the launcher. I've tried changing my password, didn't work. I know I'm using the right password. Funny is that if I put in the wrong password it rejects it twice as quickly.

(There is a three dot menu button in the lower-left of the main menu where you can open "Download Dashboard."). The launcher still refuses to login even if I'm logged in the Origin game client. Even re-installing didn't fix this. This is lame. All the content delivered by the Origin client delivered easily but the Sims 3 game store content I can't download though I paid for it because the launcher will not login."

After putting Origin into offline mode and then later back into online, I cannot get the Sims 3 launcher to login any longer.

Do you know what the difference is with animation package *files (edit) between KW_ and OKW_

Do not understand what you mean with "animations package folders". But anyway, to get the animations registered in KW or Passion

you always need two files. Mostly KW_XXX.package and OKW_XXX.package. The KW_XXX files contain the animations itself and the OKW tells the mod (KW or Passion)

what to do with the animations and where they are to find. So, ensure you ALWAYS have KW_XXX.package AND the corresponding  OKW_XXX.package in your mod/packages folder. In Kinky World you may have to register the animations then (I assume you know how to register animations in KW) by using the file name where the animations are in. Mostly KW_XXX (without the .package extension)

Can not help with your online problem, but one thing came into my mind : Did you ensure your newly installed game have the same patch version as the previous ? I guess you need to patch the game to ver 1.69 if you previously needed to be online to start the game. (before you instaled all new I mean) Just a thought.......

Funny thing is that in the main menu it actually logs me in where I can see in my download page Dragon Valley ready to download but still the launcher won't accept my password asking for it repeatedly (it'll re-prompt for the password more quickly if you enter the wrong password, go figure) and denying me my paid content, argh
Renaming "The Sims 3" folder at Documents/Electronic Arts/   didn't help either.
I moved my Sims3 Game installation out of Program Files (x86) to another folder G:\Games\The Sims 3, registered it with Origin and I think the launcher is letting me login. I think.. but I still have an empty Home screen "the website cannot display the page." Refreshing the page doesn't help it. But I appear to be logged in though clicking download on my paid content on the sims 3 website doesn't put it in the download queue. I go into the main menu and I'm already logged in this time, good sign. I go to the download page from the main menu and successfully (again) queue up a paid content download. I then Alt-Tab out to my launcher and it's asking me for my password, strange as it already let me sign in a minute before and I didn't restart the launcher since. So it's the same roadblock.

Good News!   I was going to try these instructions which I'd mostly already done before but hoped it might work:
https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Launcher-won-t-work-TS3-exe-won-t-work-either-launching-through/td-p/29130
But anyway I went ahead and changed the location of my game from
G:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games     to
G:\Games\Origin Games
I also just remembered that I used a "vanilla" backup copy of my un-modded game folder when I did this move so that could have played a part, though I doubt it.
And that seems to have finally fixed the problem. I was able to sign into the launcher for awhile at first then it stopped working after putting Origin into offline mode for a few minutes. And now it's finally fixed with a solution I didn't read anywhere on the many forum threads I read on this issue. Finally!  ^_^

I had changed my password earlier but that didn't help. I don't think that played a part in this solution but if someone is having this issue could it really hurt to do?
