Syapphic Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 I've installed FNIS into MO2 and everything worked fine. But later when I installed a couple of mods and updated FNIS behavior I realized that all the behaviors that had been generated is gone. When I fall backed to a previous state with the mods uninstalled, FNIS still fails to generate the behaviors. I've spent the last 6 hours trying to get FNIS to work again. I'm launching using MO2. I've reinstalled FNIS. Running as administrator. Scoured the internet for possible fixes. I'm not even sure what is wrong with FNIS, whenever I clicked 'update FNIS behavior' everything would show as if it is fine but when I open the directory there would be no new files there and no animations would play in-game. I'm completely stumped on why FNIS doesn't generate any files. Has anybody had similar problem with MO2 and FNIS? How do you fix this?
Grey Cloud Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 I don't understand what you mean. According to the screenshot of your FNIS output FNIS has generated the behaviours - 5270 character and 683 creature. Here's the tail end of mine for comparison. Reading PsycheCreature V1.0 ... 13198 animations for 51 mods successfully included (character). ChAnims: 13198 CTD:104.9% pOpt:17.6% max: 12585 LC: 27437 (max. 26162) 5471 animations for 19 mods and 42 creatures successfully included.. I've got more animations than you but the info is the same. What are you expecting?

What are you expecting? The problem is that even though FNIS seems fine, the game does not detect any animations. When I check the behaviors folder, there are no new behaviors generated. As such, I'm now stuck with NPCs not doing anything. They don't even get stuck into the default animation, they just continue what they were doing as if there is no animation suppose to play. As seen in the screenshot, FNIS says the output generated the behavior but when I checked all FNIS related folder there is no newly generated files. While I'm not sure, I think the fault lies in either MO2 or FNIS. Back when I used Vortex, FNIS was able to generate the animations without a problem. Now even though I can see that FNIS generates an output, it does not output the files and animations that are in Sexlab.
Grey Cloud Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 I don't use MO but I suggest that the problem lies in the way you have FNIS set up with MO. The image in your top screenshot shows the contents of a folder in the FNIS archive, it is not the contents of what is actually installed or generated.
Tlam99 Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Spoiler FNIS must be installed via Data Tab. rightclick, set as executable. Actually, it's mentioned in FNIS installation instructions.

Yup, my bad should've have shown my MO2 setup as well. 41 minutes ago, T-lam said: Reveal hidden contents FNIS must be installed via Data Tab. I've gone through the FNIS webpage for at least an entire hour looking through it to see if I missed anything and can't find what you're referring to but admittedly that might be due to my poor English comprehension. Either way, thanks again finally got it to work. Just had to try running FNIS through the Data tab instead of the Tools option.
