Basemental Drugs - no addiction

Hello. I have weird problem that I can have my Sims drugged out of their minds 24/7 and they never get any addiction for cocaine or speed etc. Only thing I got was a teen getting drunk once and immediately having an alcohol addiction.

 

This state is now so long that I cannot really believe it is just bad luck on the randomness. As said, I have some longer running game where my sim can be on speed essentially the entire time without needing sleep and no addiction for weeks and weeks on end. I kind of wanted her to have some life problems... but if drugs are so great  and have no consequences maybe I should get some...

 

I can add the trait via MCCC, but I do not see anything in logs that should block it ocurring in game normally.

Aaaand, when a sim smokes weed once or twice they become a full blown stoner and addicted, lol.

Or they did before anyway but I don't bother with growing weed anymore.

 

Had the drunks problem before but it doesn't seem to happen much anymore but I haven't checked all the townies.

 

I recently had some random townies with addictions for MDMA, Cocaine, and another one.

But then I removed all the drug dealers and used MCCC to remove those hidden traits on those addicted sims with MC CAS.

 

Hard to tell what's normal but BD has a Discord Channel and ppl are quite friendly to help just don't mention the devious desires mod, lol.

You have the latest version of BD I assume.

Wonder if moving the Basemental folder in your saves to your Desktop would help.
