Plants in Gardenbox gone?

All the plants in the garden boxes have disappeared after the update, not turned into a pile of dirt, just gone. But all the ones i planted in the ground are still there.

So far Ive updated:

MCCC, MCWoohoo,

Basemental drugs & gangs,

whickedwhims,

Gardening Plants, All Seasons, No Glow, 10 Harvestables by MonoChaos.

 

I dont have any other gardening mods installed.

When i remove the mods folder the plants come back in the garden boxes.

Ive gone through the list of broken mods and the only ones i have from that list have been updated. (MCCC & Gardening plants by MonoChaos).

I mostly have animations and CC like clothes, body stuff. I cant think of any other script mods that i have which could be causing this issue.

 

Do you guys know what the issue is here?

Do you have 'Kids can garden' mod?

 

I would also try removing Gardening Plants, All Seasons & 10 Harvestables by MonoChaos.

Then test in game again.

You can find out which mod is the culprit by adding them back in one at a time.

 

It could even be caused by some oddball script mod that has nothing to do with gardening.

I do not have 'kids can garden'.

 

Ive been having this issue before i added the Gardening plants by MonoChaos. Still tried removing it but still no plants.

I just found out about this mod today from the broken mods list.

 

So i searched for 'ts4script' in my mods folder and only these files came up (img attached).

Well it's not likely one of those script mods is causing it.

Only Basemental Drugs does anything with gardening but I'd assume it only would affect weed plants.

 

Then it must be an XML tuning file I guess.

 

Might have to do the 50/50 method of removing other mods until you find the culprit.

Depending on what mods you have but...

I usually move all my LittleMsSam mods to desktop first and retest, Faster Gardening is one just updated for example.

Or move them out in groups of maybe 10 category folders at a time and then retest.

I have a folder on my desktop named 'Mods Testing' that I dump all of them into.

After testing and the problem still occurs I move them from 'Mods Testing' to another folder named 'Mods Good'.

Then move the next group from Mods into 'Mods Testing' and just keep repeating.

 

Eventually you will find the group you just moved fixed it so then you have to go through the group and test each mod one at a time.

(There is a slim chance that it's not just a single mod causing it but only happens when 2 specific mods are used together)

 

Don't forget to delete your localthumbcache when adding or removing mods for testing and don't make any new saves obviously.

Basemental Drugs is the culprit. It was the 1st one i removed and the plants came back.

 

Just posted on their discord and they told me all the plants have been moved to household inventory and that i just need to place them in the box again.

what the hell.

Strange I thought he already updated it to fix those issues.

 

EDIT:

Some time ago I seem to remember problems with the planter boxes themselves not working right.

Just can't remember if it was a game bug, or a BD bug, or another mod.

 

But I do know that every time EA supposedly fixes the gardening bugs that other gardening bugs then appear and I still don't think they have all of them fixed yet.
