[Suggestion] Youth Race - A "child" custom race

One problem I'm seeing a lot of with the custom child races is that they aren't compatible with vanilla outfits or with a lot of modded outfits unless they get remeshed for said race. This is kinda frustrating because I eventually want to use a "child" race, but want to use a particular setup in terms of what my character is wearing.

To possibly solve this, I'm suggesting that someone try making a "Youth" race, one that still uses adult meshes, but is child-sized (as in, lower height, or something like that). If that works, I'd be able to use the custom armor pieces without needing to get someone to edit them for use with a child race.

Would something like this work? Or is it not that simple?

Children of the sky is compatible with vanilla armors I'm using Daughters of Venus and that is compatible with vanilla armors. Not sure what child races you are looking at. The armors when worn take the form of the child race that you are using. If you are looking at child races that use the vanilla children then that would be the reason why they are not compatible with vanilla armors as the vanilla children were made only to wear specific vanilla outfits. Armors if you put them on a vanilla child will either make their bodies go invisible or make them run around in their fruit of a looms. Also you could find one adult race that has some cute faces and once you have the face and everything set the way that you want it to be you could try and use the setscale console command and set it to .80 which will shrink them to child size.

That "setscale" command could work. Might be some control issues, but I can see it working.

Shouldn't be any control issues setscale only changes a players height. Other then being shorter and sometimes having to jump to see things on a shelf that is about all. My player has been at .80 or so for quite awhile.
