sweetjamez Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Ok, so today I had to update the sims 4 for the latest patch update. I saw the latest WW, which is the Oct 30 version. Downloaded, installed as usual. After enabling script mods and restarting, I get a notification talking about Scripts or some shit was missing. I delete and start over. Get back on game. Did not get the warning this time at all...got nothing. The Wicked Whims mod is installed like usual, only this time I still have nothing. I am on an HP pc, and usually have no trouble at all. Please tell me what I've done wrong.

You have updated your game - that's what's gone wrong, and it's not really (well, maybe partially) your fault. There's one thing you need to know about game patches for TS4: They break mods and sometimes they do so very badly. That's why a lot of people around here do not update their games, until major mods like WickedWhims and MC Command Center have released updates as well. If you're a lazy person (like me), you just leave the auto-update function active, but then you'll run into these issues every once in a while. The solution to your (or rather: our) problem is simple: "Wait for the creators to update their mods." I'm already seeing updates for Nisa's Wicked Pervs and Devious Desires here at LL, so by tomorrow, all might be well again already.
TH82 Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Hi there, I am currently updating my script mods due to the latest update. Unfortunately I am quite unsure if WW is good to go or not. Latest version is from October, I know but I am quite unsure if the version causes issues or not. Does anybody know if WW needs update?

sahmormakstevmom Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 WW works fine for me. I use Turbos auto install program for the clean install. The only errors I am currently getting are from Nisa's WW perversions. Just be Patient. Let them load up their updates. I know waiting is the hard part.

cutties Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 i use version 1.166.139 and dl ww newest version but doesnt work at all, it says detect and need to stop sex animation... any suggestions?

The current game version is 1.68.something. 1.66 should still be fine with the most recent WW version, but why not update the game (now that a lot of the mods broken by the patch have been fixed again)? Once everything is up to date, the issue might be gone. If it still doesn't work, make sure you have followed the installation instructions for WW and everything is set up properly. When in-game, you can also bring up the console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C and type in "ww.fix" (without the quotes). More detailed troubleshooting would require more information, like screenshots or lastException files.
