Straightmore Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 Whenever i try to start the game via mo2 skse it locks mo2 for about 10 seconds. Steam actually tells me im playing skyrim, but aftert these 10 seconds the locked screen goes away and the game does not start, steam also goes back to not-playing the game. I assume its a crash upon starting the game, but i do not know the cause for it. Below is my load order. Mo2 at some point refered to racemenu and skee64.dll as the causes for the crash, but both skse and racemenu are up to date. Im trying to play the game for the first time since february and it had worked back then (i updated severeal mods before i loaded the game for the first time). Does anyone have any idea what could could cause the crash and knows how to fix it? Are you sure the SKSE version you have is compatible with the Racemenu version you have? Crashing at that point is either an skse plugin failing to load (like the skee64.dll) or a missing master. Both issues should be notified to you by MO, so check if you have any Notification and fix it. Alternatively, you can check the skse64.log in your Documents\my games\skyrim special edition\SKSE to get the full log of skse plugins. If any plugin is failing to load in there (it should appear as a notification in MO too) you should check that mod and find if there are any specific version incompatibilities.

The problem is still there though.

Is this your first time trying to launch the game since you installed mods/since you started using MO? If so, you should start by slowly adding mods to it once you know the game is working fine. Try to launch SKSE through MO as usual but with all your mods in the left panel disabled. If you can get to the main menu close it, go back to MO and start enabling a few mods at a time. Sort loadorder and make sure you have no notifications/warnings about missing masters or anything else.
