Oblivion Companion dismissing afer sex scence

Hi all!

 

I am having the trouble where custom companion Saerileth is being dismissing after engaging in a sex scene. I have Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul (MOO), a bashed patch and Lovers. I've tried moving my load order around to no avail. Here is my current load order:

Don't think I can help. I don't use Saerileth.

 

After any sex?  Saerileth and NPC, NPC and Saerileth. Player with Saerileth,  Saerileth with player ?

 

dismissed:

Is she ending the "relationship" when you hit her  (more than 3 times) or use magic against her ?   I do not know the Saerileth scripts , but maybe she ends the "relationship" if you treat her badly . It's a relationship mod.

Then she will be dismissed when you rape her, because that's an attack. ( Then you have to change/block the "player attack Saerileth" check in her scripts )

 

But normal sex should not dismiss her.  And if she has sex with NPCs it shouldn't have any effect on the relationship with the player.

 

But if any sex dismisses Saerileth . . . I do not know why.

But maybe a right load order will fix the problem , or at least other problems in your game.

 

The 4 Lovers Mods below

will not work right.

 

And the Load Order of many other mods isn't good either.

After sorting start a new game ! Bugs can be in your save, or an old save do not work well with the new load order.

If you really want to use your old save  first start a new game and test the game if Saerileth works or if you get any problems,..  and if everything works fine you can try an old save. If errors occur then you know that it is the old save, and not an error in the game or the load order.  Then you can not use your old saves.

 

! Remember to reset Tamago/Hiyoko when you change your load order ! The game can crash if there are children.

Thank you! Yeah I haven't sorted my load order with BOSS... tried LOOT and yikes. I'll read your link further!

 

And it's after PC with NPC. Seems fine with NPC NPC. Haven't tried player with Saerileth.

Ok I Boss sorted my load order and read through the instructions. I was able to load the old save, no crashes but the companion still dismisses herself after sex between PC and NPC. *shrugs* I going test another companion and see if its just companions or Saerileth. Thanks again!

I downloaded Neeshka, and same issue. PC with NPC scene and she stops following.

Ok I figured it out!!

 

It was the setting in Lovers with PK allowing spectators. I turned it off, and voila!

So she was not dismissed , she only stops following.    So her follow AI package was replaced by the "spectators watch" AI package. You could told her "follow me" . You didn't have to hire her again.

 

Good you fixed it.

But what have you done with your load order ? Your old load order was not good  ... but your new load order is a mess.

That load order is not sorted with BOSS   .  And  don't tell me you have read my yellow Link.   Not BOSS and  not my example load order.

The load order you have maybe works  . . . and maybe for a long time ... but some day you get problems.

I once had the problem that a new mod didn't work, always CTD. Neither at the beginning, in the middle or at the end of the load order.  It was during the first years of Oblivion... then I read about Load order and sorted my Mods. Then just for fun I tested the "not working Mod" at different positions in the load order  and no crashes. ( of course I put it in the correct place afterwards ).

It was a armor Mod with one new chest in game !  It crashed the game just because of a wrong load order.

So better start with a right load order if you want to install more Mods.

If you keep a bad load order and you get problems and have to reorder the load order it can happen that your old save no longer works..

But what have you done with your load order ? Your old load order was not good  ... but your new load order is a mess.

That load order is not sorted with BOSS   .  And  don't tell me you have read my yellow Link.   Not BOSS and  not my example load order.

The load order you have maybe works  . . . and maybe for a long time ... but some day you get problems.

I once had the problem that a new mod didn't work, always CTD. Neither at the beginning, in the middle or at the end of the load order.  It was during the first years of Oblivion... then I read about Load order and sorted my Mods. Then just for fun I tested the "not working Mod" at different positions in the load order  and no crashes. ( of course I put it in the correct place afterwards ).
