Is there a working replacement for all of the Aspirations and traits you added to the characters? I like what you picked, but you mentioned alot of the traits were broken, and it seems like the original creators have been MIA on updates.

I just use the ones in the vanilla game now. It just made things less painful when updates happen.

Hi everyone, sorry for not being active again. I was out of town for a university course and was working. My game was really laggy as I try to figure out what mods needed to be updated. But I'm back to work on it today. I'm also investing in a really good laptop at the end of the month. With a faster machine it should expedite the save file. I'll try to upload some sims sometime in December.

Okay, turns out Nisa's WP hasn't been updated, breaking the UI, and the current Patreon version of Basmental Drugs is making my game really laggy. A lot the sims and venues have traits from these mods. I'm going to hold up until they're updated or if I can figure out what is conflicting. I might be better off waiting until I get my new laptop at any rate.

What I did was just have MCCC, WW, and BD in my mod folder and just used a fresh save file. When BD was removed the game ran a bit better. I think the main issue is the last game patch made my game lag pretty bad without any mods on my older desktop on low settings. Before it played well enough where it would just chug a bit. But now it got to the point where something that use to take me maybe 5 minutes in CAS is now taking 20. I don't have that kind of time.

I'm getting my new computer next week, I'm hoping that a $2500 laptop can handle and intensive game like the Sims 4. By then Nisa will hopefully have an update for Wicked Perversions and I can get back to it in earnest.

Ey Walla! I know I have said it before, but for me your sims are my favourite of the whole site and I just wanted to thank you for the effort and creativity you put in all your creations, even with the dificulties you have. I really hope you come back soon with some more amazing sims!

Beautiful! Very adorable! I just got my new laptop, I'll be transferring everything tomorrow and get back to work!

Transferring everything on Sunday didn't pan out, but now it's underway! I'll working in the save during my off rotation so progress will be made!

I didn't realize how long it's been since I did an update... uh... it has been not great  Work has been turbulent and has left me little to no free time in general. I managed to work on it a bit but not enough to be happy with the progress. I have plans to either start working my old job again or do the same thing else where so I can work a 8-5 job again to finish this. In the meantime I'll keep trying my best.

Sorry about not being active. I had a crazy last few months. Got a new job that in my field of career and had to move across my province. Then half of my province was on fire, soooo I had to prepare for evacuation at a moments notice. But things have settled down now and I'm back to work on the save file. Hit a few snags when I was going through it.

     I'm having trouble with some types of lots not populating and service sims not showing up, like in the vet clinic for example, despite assigning them. I'm not sure if it's a mod thing or if I borked the game in another way. So I might need some extra eyes to help refine it. So I might release a beta to get some help and suggestions. Hell, I might need a bit of help putting it together. I don't think it's fair to everyone to keep waiting; I would like to expedite the process. So if you're interested, leave a post and we can get organized from there. If you're really good at building that would really help! I think using Discord would be the easiest way for communication. If anyone is comfortable with that, let me know! I would really like to get this done in the summer.

Hi everyone, while I've been doing some testing with the save file and I am still having some issues with service sims not showing up. So, I'm going to try taking out all the homeless sims I was using and try to reassign them to see how that works out. I'm not sure if it's a mod thing. I can't even remember which one it could be. So before a beta release, I'm going try to solve that and fill in missing traits from when I was using custom ones. I can't give a tentative date when that would be, but once again if you are interested in lending a hand the invitation is still open.

Hello everyone,

 

I really wanted to apologize for disappearing with out a word. Things got really busy in my life and this fell to the way side. I tried to get back into it but The Sims 4 just became more frustrating during my absence. I'm really sorry for over promising and not being able to deliver. I'll take this as my chance to affirm anyone can use my characters in their own projects and they are allowed to upload them anywhere as long as they remain free.

 

Thank you everyone for your support. I had a lot of fun doing this, but I just don't have the time to try my best. Hopefully, someone with more know how and skill can make a save file for the community.
