Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3

Probably the only person who likes Naruto fighting games around here. Grant you I just got into them last year when they released Generations. Being kind of a fan of Naruto, and it being half price I picked it up on a whim, only to be shocked how much I enjoyed it! I didn't realize a new game came out until just recently, so it should be coming this week for the PS3 via Amazon. It's a nice game to kind of veg out too in a sense. Like sure, it isn't great, but it is fun to play as my favorite characters and come up with strategies and team set ups. Also it's always fun to beat up Sasuke, because I HATE that character. *ahem* Just a guilty pleasure of mine, looking forward to playing the new game when it comes out.

im not exactly a fan but i play Naruto and DBZ fighting games with my friends and we bet some money to make things interesting. We all suck on this games but we get fun.

I have the second one. Really liked it compared to several other games in the series by other developers. Which is why I'm extra excited about the new Jojo all-stars game.

The only thing I didn't like was the special move system, people would just charge up and spam specials and the fights became who can get their specials to hit the other persons hitboxes instead of fighting with the great combat system. So once I beat them game and hopped online I was very disappoint. Hope they changed that for the 3rd game cause I might get it.

Ah but you aren't I am a big time naruto fan, and even though I own only a pc I was determined to play some of the Naruto games that came out recently, that I went through hell and back to emulate the last two PS2 games on my pc, it was not a perfect experience but I was satsified all the same.
However since there's no such thing as a PS3 emulation I have to kiss Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 goodbye as I did UNS2 :<

I have to say it looks like some good fun. And now I get the trailer for the upcoming one in my youtube ads after watching the trailer, so I keep getting reminded of it. Maybe if I see it at some point in time and it's nice and cheap, I'll grab it.

It really is fun! I've only played Ninja Storm Generations, but it had all my favorite characters pre-Shippuden and Shippuden up to a point. While it's easy to spam jitsu's and such, it does take a degree of strategy to win since if you run out of shadow clones, and someone gets you in a combo they can decimate you. However there are certain super cheap characters that make things too unbalanced. Like The Masked Man, and PTS Temari. Deidara also depending on what character you have. Basically it tends to go Ranged < Puppet Master < Melee <Ranged. There was some spammers, some were easy to get around, others, especially the Masked Man spammers, and PTS Temari Spammers would drive you nuts.

 

I really hope they balanced ranged characters better in the new game the same way they evidently balanced Puppet Masters like Sasori in Generations. Like it's my understanding Sasori was basically a walking cheat in Ninja Storm 2, but in in Generations they nerfed him enough to where if you were clever you could crush him. My top 3 used to be Sasori, Haku, and Snake Kabuto. There's so many new characters in the new game who knows who I will pick as my main characters? Well I always played a lot of characters anyway those were just my top 3. Haku will no doubt be one of my top 3 again, especially since he has some neat new defensive moves. Plus I mean he represents my gender ambiguous brothers and sisters.

 

Also I love to just beat up on Sasuke... My god I hate him so much... Lots of hate for a fictional character, but yeah like Justin Beiber esque hate for Sasuke.

 

The new game should come tomorrow, not sure if I will play it or not immediately. Since things are starting to get interesting in Skyrim. Buut whenever I back away from Skyrim this will be a fun game to turn my brain off to and just have fun with. Naruto the anime and the fighting game are both guilty pleasures. But so much fun!
