That mod already comes with an option for a chainmail body suit. You want to install the stand alone version NOT the full replacer, then add in the optional files if you prefer that colour.

Thanks...... but. The mod itself doesnt contain the bodysuit in its pure form, without extra armorpieces. At the bottom of the list of downloads are 4 optional files with different versions of the bodysuit. These are not mods, but files for modders who would like to use the bodysuit in their own mods. They contain mesh-files and texture-files (nif's and dds's), but no esp-file.

I imagine someone with some knowledge about modding could easily turn these files into working mods.

A long time ago I had a very nice view with larger meshes so you could see the skin and everything else, too bad I can not remember where.

Might I suggest the Daedric Chainmail? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32846  There should be a Dragonmail version as well, though heaven knows I'd LOVE some redecos of this outfit for lower level crafting!  Elven, Steel, etc.

Wish have a version of that for CBBE+TBBP or pure CBBE...

Just like effect, but what I had seen so tight that covers the body is perfectly finished on the legs and arms, and if I'm not mistaken in some places broken effect was also ruined.

Sorry for bumping a few-month-old post, but does anyone know of a mod that adds body mesh variations for use with other armor sets?

I have one mod that replaces the daedric set with the one linked above, but I would like to use the body chain with other armor sets as well.

I have been able to figure out how to do this with Nifskope.  I had been playing with the different textures created for jojjo's Silverlight armor for quite a while. Was using the lighter chainmail version from here http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10251//. Pleased that EliteCheat adapted it for Bodyslide++, but it did not include the chainmail meshes.

Here's what I did:

Download the optional lighter chainmail version from link above.

Open nif for my body in Nifskope, then another copy of Nifskope with chainmail Silverlight.

Click on Nitrishape for your original body, scroll down to Scale and change it from 1.0000 to 1.0100. (1.02 works also)

Right click on BSLightingShaderProperty for the body, block, remove branch.

Right click on BSLightingShaderProperty for the chain part in Silverlight, block, copy branch.

Back to original body, right click, paste branch. Now we have a slightly larger body with chainmail textures.

Save your chainmailed body as an armor you already have in the game, and go try it out. (Or load it into a chest with the CK)

Optionals: I used this particular chainmail texture because I'm both a pervert and lazy.

To make the naked body (or whatever) show through the chainmail:

Right click the body you just altered, node, attach property, NiAlphaProperty.

Right click body again, block, copy branch.

Back to Silverlight copy of Nifskope, load up a second copy of the original body instead. Right click this body, block, paste branch.

Looks like a lot of clipping in Nifskope, but looks fine in game.

Even more optional: As I noted, I used this particular chainmail texture because I'm lazy. There was no background color between the links in the chain. You can use a different chainmail if you edit out the color between the links.

Yet another option: I tried following my own advice to create a lace catsuit, but couldn't get it to show up in game until I read the experts. If adding the NiAlphaProperty makes everything invisible, you might have done what I did and forgot to fix BSLightingshaderproperty. If the Skyrim Shader Type (first line in the BSLightingshaderproperty) says Skin Tint, change it to Default. Then scroll down to  Shader Flags 1, click in the values part until use see a little down arrow to the right, click the arrow, and uncheck the two boxes that have Face_Gen in them.

 I know, I know, TL\DR.
