WW Personalization options keep switching from empty to full

WickedWhims is not generating LE logs with this issue. The attached file is the latest LE I could find that doesn't have WW in the name, as the last log it generated was in September. Not sure if this log will be any use but I attached it anyway.

 

I am using the latest public release of WW, which is v158g.

I have double-checked and all mods that use WW appear to be up to date as well.

My game version is up to date. (as of writing this post)

 

The only penis mods I have installed besides the default are Berni's (Furry +18). I used Hiroki's to test why the mods I used weren't working, and I have since removed it.

 

 

After updating both WW and Berni's mod, the WW personalization options have become inconsistent.

 

Sometimes when I load the game up, WW detects ALL my custom penises (including Hiroki, when I tested with it), and I am able to pick one, other times I load it up and it detects NONE, but both mods contents are still accessible in CAS even if WW doesn't let me choose them in personalization. Restarting the game doesn't always guarantee that WW detects the penis mods.

I've made sure none of the mods are deeper than 1 folder, as I understand this can cause problems.

I tested some custom vagina mods too to see if it was just Berni's mod, but they don't always appear either, even after removing Berni's mod.

 

I clear my games localthumbcache every time I am going to play the game, so I don't know if that might be it? Should I stop doing that?

 

I run the game on:

Windows 10, 64bit (with updates on)

16GB RAM

Intel i7-8700 Dual-core

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060

I'm having this exact same issue  since the newest update and I  can't get it to register my options at all. it's been like this since I updated WW and even deleting and reinstalling everything won't work.

Same, I tried a clean install on a brand new save with WW, and WW just stopped detecting any additional bodyparts I added to my mods folder, regardless of the type (penis, vagina, chest).

Some things to try...

There are 2 folders you should try deleting.

One is in the WickedWhimsMod folder and it's named Settings.

The other is in your Saves folder

 

Then move the WW folder to your desktop temporarily.

Delete your localthumbcache.package in your TS4 folder.

(This is the point I'd also do an Origin Repair).

 

Load your old save and your played household then do a 'save as' whatever.

Then exit, delete the localthumbcache again and move WW back into Mods.

I've done as instructed on 2 saves; an old one and a brand new one, as even new saves were effected. Sadly this hasn't worked for either, even after Origin Repair (it didn't detect any missing/damaged file.) Clean install of the mod isn't working either. Thanks for the help though, it was worth a try.

I don't know what else to do at this point other than wait for the next update, so I'll wait for now.

All I can think of is the body parts you are using aren't supported by WW anymore.

Too many default bodies can cause problems too.

Non-default parts should show up in the WW body selector unless they are unsupported.

To use one default cc body like BB or CMAR you have to select Maxis/default.

I only use the BB female tops because the rest of the parts have problems.

But...

I use Wild Guys Female Body Details, recently updated, to add the body and female bits for CAS which is made for WW anyway.

Plus Simdulgence Real Gens Penis.

 

Your LE is showing a Basemental Drugs error related to rabbit holes so make sure BD is updated.

And look for any other mods you might have that add rabbit hole careers as they often break with game updates or conflict with other mods.

 

The other error is related to university degrees and one I know of is LittleMsSam's degree fix, or something.

Any old university mods need to be removed or updated.

 

Best way to find the problem is to remove all other mods except for WW + Animations and retest.

Just don't make any new saves that overwrite your original.

Typical cc like hairstyles, makeup, bb content, etc., are OK to leave installed.

 

If everything is working now add just Basemental Drugs back into mods and retest again.

 

I suspect there is another mod/s causing issues.

Updating Basemental and MsSam's stuff didn't do anything, however whilst looking through my mods folder I found "TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_CAS_Old_Penis.package" which I believe isn't needed anymore, because after I deleted it everything started working again.
