loyaltycrawl Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 Hey, so I wanted to install mods in Skyrim. I am using Mod Organiser 2, I watched the tutorials but I can't seem to do it correctly. Those mods won't show up in-game. Any help how to do it the right way? I really want those mods but it's too hard for me to understand. I was trying to get the Sex lab mod with all the other files that must be installed. I installed those files, but I can't install other mods. They just won't show up. I have added screenshot with my mod organiser
Just Don't Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 You can always try my guide, it's a a pinned thread in the general Skyrim SE section, or click the orange link in my signature. It covers the basic stuff to get you going. After you complete that with the mods covered you should be able to add whatever mods you want as long as you follow each mod instructions and keep things in order.
loyaltycrawl Posted October 20, 2020 Author Posted October 20, 2020 Hey, so I followed the guide and made it to part 10. Once I pressed ''Run'' new error showed - You have one or more script extender plugins which failed to load The failed plugins are: • Couldn't load SchlongsOfSkyrim.dll (SOS). A DLL is invalid (code 193). So, what can I do now?
Just Don't Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 You downloaded an incompatible SOS version. If you follow the links in my guide the only explanation is you got the SOS for VR instead of the SOS for SE, or you're using a different SKSE version than the one expected (which is the latest SKSE for SE release). If you had downloaded SOS for SE (1.1.4) and were using the current SKSE release for SE (2.0.19) you wouldn't have this issue. So check which SKSE version you have (in step 4 there is a quick in game test to verify which version is detected as installed in game, you should also know this by looking at the SKSE files you downloaded and used to do step 4). Also check which SOS version you're using.
loyaltycrawl Posted October 20, 2020 Author Posted October 20, 2020 Oh, right. I downloaded the other SOS. So can I just delete this SOS and install that one?
Just Don't Posted October 20, 2020 Posted October 20, 2020 Yes, make sure you completely remove it from MO (this means locating the SOS installed in the left panel, right click and select remove mod). Then you can download the proper version and use it in place of the previous SOS installed.
