Tonnni1 Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 I know it’s a common issue but my god is it frustrating... I just wanna roof my home but still keep it as a loft without this clipping issue?
Crashdown117 Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 AFAIK there's no way to prevent this, but as a workaround, I tend to use a construction that is also seen quite often for fireplaces and chimneys. Instead of a simple wall, make it a "room" that's one tile wide and remove floors as necessary. Clipping will still be present, but less visible - and it's significantly easier to ignore this way. Alternatively, remove the roof and add a small balcony instead. That'll maybe put your house a little more along the lines of continental European architecture on the outside (like town houses from the late 19th century), but it'll also give you more daylight on the inside (adding to the "loft-y" feel).
