wildtangent Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 As the title says dose the number of animations you have installed, slow down how fast your scripts run? Â If this is true can I delete some of the older animations that are still packaged with sexlab framework or will this break the framework?

No. Nothing to do with each other.

I removed 2 full packs, and 2 partial pack lessening my total animations by 100. Things are running a lot better in my game.
VersuchDrei Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 SexLab has a function where you give it a list of keywords and it gives you back a random animation where those apply. The more animations you have installed the longer it takes for SL to go through the list to scan them. This only applies to SL animations, though, not animations in general. I'm unsure if SL will still work if you delete some of its default animations, but if I'm not mistaken toggling them in the "Toggle Animations" section in the MCM will remove them from the list.

Swell. Has nothing to do with scripting. Could be that you were near your animation limit.

Well, yes. But op was particularly talking about script lag and didn't go much into detail. If he installed a few extra animation packs for SL that could be causing the described issue. Animation load would afaik cause the whole game to lag, not just the scripts.
