robataborat Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 So some time ago while downloading A LOT of mods i came across a pretty good looking Misty hair mod. Those seem quite rare so i thought of it as a true find, and still do. Problem is, it doesn't seem to work, and i cannot for the life of me find out why. Also im a bit unsure on who actually made it. The file says "Raccooned" on it but so far havent found anyone going by that name or similar. That's what i get for downloading in bulk, i guess. I'd appreciate it if somebody tried the file in their game, or if they spot an issue tell me about it. Previously i've mistaken mods meant for sims 3 to be sims 4 mods, but this time it doesn't seem to be the case. Point is i might have missed an obvious sign or reason for this to not work and need to know if this is the case. I know lover's lab probably isn't the best place to ask about mods that don't work, or rather stuff that isn't lewd focused, but i thought i'd try and ask y'all as well about this, since there are a lot of active/knowledgeable sims players. I'll include the file for anyone willing to try out. Thank you *EDIT* Forgot to mention, the way the mod doesn't work is a bit odd. Sims 4 acknowledges the existence of the mod, but the hair does not show up in CAS for some reason. [Raccooned] Misty hair.package

No....some people put the zipped file and the pkg file in the mods folder then wonder why things don't work....usually happens with auto install though.....but you're ok...Btw....always delete localthumbcache.pkg file whenever you add or delete mods One other thing....have you checked all the hair lengths? according to S4S this hair is flagged as short/updo.. Tbh I can see no reason why this isn't showing up.
