Panties unequip corset automatically

So I've been having this issue when I equip panties or pants, they automatically unequip my corset. I have no idea what is causing this. I thought it was devious devices at first but it isn't. I am a complete loss and don't know what to do.

its a skeleton issue, armor and clothing are assigned to an armor slot via the skeleton, the panties/pants and corset use the same slot, u need to change the corset location using tes5 edit  https://forum.step-project.com/topic/5152-changing-body-armor-slot-with-tes5edit/

Is it a corset from Devous Devices? Does it unequip, or just turns invisible? Do pants or panties occupy body armor equipment slot (slot 32)?

As Flutie said, if the items are getting unequipped and not just hidden, then they are occupying the same slot. Underwear/Panties are normally set to 49, 51 or 52 (most avoid 52 as it is the slot that SOS uses) but some outfit creators (Harry2135 for example) will use very different slots, like 46 or 45.

If you have Defeat installed then there is a nice little tool under Player as Victim called Check Slots that will tell you what you current outfit occupy what slots.

I think SexLab has a similar feature under one of the stripping menus, I just always use Defeats one.

 

You might also need to change the BodyPart of the mesh, in nifskope, under BSDismemberSkinInstance as well as following the guide in the link Flutie provided.

I have never had this issue before. I am using Tera armor and this is happening with other oufits too. It goes away every now and then but comes back. I will check Defeat like you said. I just don't think i need to change any mesh files because this has never happened before.

If it goes away and comes back again then it sounds like SOS is the issue, first thing I would try is under the Schlongs of Skyrim MCM, General, Clean Schlongified Armors.

Okay after disabling and enabling, I no longer have the issue. I did this with my other mods as well and they are fixed. I have no idea what caused the issue but this seemed to fix them.
