New Update Review!

Again, it's a disappointment, but I guess it's a start (after 6+ years of asking for fixes).

He´s doing a very good review. I saw the official stream yesterday, better said, parts of it, cause it was unbearable and filled with self-praise.

 

And yes, the objects are nice, but what they call an update for haistyles is ridiculous. "The first step"? Is this a joke? I am going to paint a picture, and as a first step I pull red color right over the whole canvas, and then I tell you, that further investigation will lead to a complete picture, including a motif? Damn, if I want good skintones and hairstyles, I never would wait for EAxis to make them, cause they can´t. There are artists enough out there, that could give the self acclaimed "gurus" some advice, how to make textures and meshes. This is no unknown feature, if it comes to game developing.

I don´t get it, EAxis...

 

I decided to stay offline for now, until I know, that all mods, that I am using, will work after updating the game. And the reason is, that my game, that I call the Sims, is completely different from the base material, that EAxis made. I am currently using around 200 script- and tuningmods, and only cause of this horribly big amount of mods my game has, what I call content and gameplay-depth.

Thank you EAxis for your always wide open ears, that never hear our screams. Selfmade deafness at it´s best! And yes, there is one new chair with a few admittedly nice color-variants! But even you, EAxis-"gurus" should have heard, that LGR doesn´t play the Sims anymore, and so chairs are nothing, we would need for a sarcastic review, that never will be made.

 

And that is the worst: that you EAxis were the reason to stop LGR from doing his reviews. Cause his reviews are, what I deeply miss in a world of facebook apes...

I agree with you, but i think you should play ts3 instead, i dont play it cuz my pc cant handle with all my mods?. I think this update will be fine for mods, should be a big pain updating all this mods?.

The update is okay with mods. Just got done playing sims and everything worked great. I have WW, basmemental drugs (though I did download the update (or atleast I think it was an update lol)), and nisa. Those are my only big mods that I was worried about, but they are pretty much fine.

I still play Sims 3.

But with mods, Sims 4 can be a very good game, only the gameplay then doesn´t come from EAxis in the first place. My main gameplay mods are WW, basemental´s, and some of sacrificial´s mods, some from KawaiiStacie, and meaningful stories from roBurky. There is not much left of the original game exept the overall comic-look. And that is indeed, what I like in Sims 4, this particular look.

Also I bought only, when addons were availlable through sales and for a really small price.

I am using wild_guy´s default female skin, and I asked him in his thread but only a few minutes ago. And I will wait for his answer, before I´ll get my new chair.

Nipples and vagina details have completely disappeared for me. So far thats the only thing Ive noticed that doesnt work. I think his review is pretty spot on with everything.

I just wanted to point out that they still haven't fixed the basegame chinstrap beard. (4 years and it's still broken.) I was really hoping they would fix it with this patch but nope.

It would be great if we could have some thread somewhere which shows default skintones being updated. I miss luumias skins already, but I understand that updating them will take time.
