Is it safe to assume that you are no longer working on the patch? We haven't heard from you in around two months. I'm ok with work on the patch ending - it's important to prioritize work and health. I'm just bummed we won't see the Lan Xiang model you showed some time ago. Thanks.

DatWombat was out of touch from August of last year to February of this year (a little over 5 months), and then didn't actually publish a new patch until April. It's not great, I really want Kurenai back, and it'd be nice to get Ingrid and Noah like some of the previews suggested, but 2 months out of contact isn't actually that strange. Hopefully they're feeling alright.

There's also ModerJack over on Patreon, but they haven't updated their nude mod in nearly a year, and even if all of them were working properly there'd still be fewer characters than DatWombat has. Most of their stuff are alt outfits, which I don't care as much about, and they've got some background/supporter/loading screen mods, but those are a bit... busy. Too much going on there imho, though I do like the idea of a supporter/portrait nude or lewd mod if it were better executed.

 

There's also another guy in this thread, g29504569, who also sometimes posts mods, but they've got these weird engorged clits that put me off, and I'm not sure how up to date their mods are. There was someone with a Discord server a couple years ago, but I've got no idea if that's dead or not.

 

I've thought about trying my hand at some supporter mods, just using some basic AI stuff, but I'm sure I'll get halfway through and then find out that Wombat finally got around to making their own version that they talked about several months ago.

ModerJack over on Patreon is consistently putting out outfit mods, he put one out for Nagi this morning. The problem is that his nude mod is pretty outdated and doesn't include as many characters as Wombat's. In my opinion most of his non-character mods overdo it a bit, but the NSFW icon mod is pretty good, and works with Wombat's mod with no issues.

Yes, I'm still slowly updating.
However, I'm mostly working on paid skins, and as the rumors above suggest, many people dislike my mods, so I haven't released any new content lately.

But the main reason is that I've lost contact with my collaborator @deathgodex ; he barely responds to my messages. I also don't have the ability to put mods into the game. It seems, as you said, "Modding is dead in this game."

 

Maybe I will turn my attention to other game mods, such as Risk of Rain 2.

@g29504569 I'm glad you picked  up modding this game. @DatWombat mods still work you just have to do it UABEA way. I just hope you can do mods from the characters that never really got any.

Thank for your, but actually I started releasing mods from page 13. It's just that I create far fewer characters than Wombat.
