Visiting venues with friends...

I have this really annoying bug that has been plaguing me since I first got the TS4. Any Sim that I invite to join me at any venue (single or groups) they always end up leaving almost immediately after we arrive. I've never managed to keep a group gathering together for more than 1 hour game time. I'm almost certain that this can't just be a feature of the game (I mean it's one of the most basic parts of the game!) Anyone have this problem before and know how to fix it?

Not sure if it's really a problem or just the way the game works.

 

Never played around with groups very much myself but only one or two at a time on occasion.

NPC's are still on free will and will usually 'do their own thing' anyway.

As an example some have traits like 'loner' and hate being around too many strangers so they might just leave.

Some might have to work, jog, get hungry or need to shower even.

I think you have to keep the group occupied by doing group menu activities constantly, like dance together, tell jokes, tell stories, or they will loose interest and wander off. 

 

Since my player sim is friendly with so many other sims all he has to do is go to another public venue and other sims show up.

Nightclubs and Lounges seem to attract more sims than other venues.

Then:

Coffee Shops

Gyms & Spas

Libraries 

Bars

Parks

What I've noticed in my game anyway but might be different for others.

Even those I notice sims come and go pretty regularly.

 

Check LittleMsSams 'More Visitors' mod if you want more sims to visit certain lots.

Note: the game has a default limit of 20 sims per lot, or zone, but this can also be changed with another mod but the game might get laggy with too many sims.

These sims will also come and go but seem to be on a faster turnover rate.

 

Another option is using the Clubs Feature from Get Together EP, (my favorite EP so far).

Just start a new Club and invite all the sims you want to join, they become a group when you start a club gathering and won't leave until you end the gathering.

You can start a Club Gathering at any venue or at the home of any member.

Members are limited to 8 total after earning club points and buying those perks to unlock more members.

There is also another mod to unlock unlimited members but you should stick to the 20 sims limit.

Make a Sex Club or Swingers Club by adding those WW club activities. 

Add drinking, dancing, drugs, or whatever as all club activities earn club points.
