I did NOT create this mod, I merely converted @Buddy Christ's mod for Skyrim Special Edition, and shared it according to the open permissions they gave on the original download page. I CANNOT give any perms not specified on the original upload page for this mod. SMUT Books

Attention: SMUT Books now requires the SexLab Framework!

With SMUT Books, I wanted to integrate some sort of smutty and explicit writings.

It soon turned into a different direction and now I am expanding the range of books towards folk tales and will branch into less explicit material as well.

Since many of the books were published by "Sven Morkard's Uncensored Texts", I kept the name SMUT Books :D

My writing skills aren't on par with many others, English is not my main language and therefore mistakes might be abundant in the texts.

Feel free to send me corrections, I will polish the books as I add new ones.

So far there are 13 books in the mod. I added 4 of them to the leveled list for book clutter.

I have no idea if I did it right, so if you find a book somewhere, please let me know it works :)

One of the books can be found near the sign post at the crossroads Helgen/Riverwood. Or so I hope at least...

I am again not sure if I did everything right, this is the first time I actually did something with the CK.

Some of the books contain pictures. Those are not really connected to the stories. I intended them to be like "Page Three Girls" or like Centerfolds. But they are neither on page 3 or in the center ;)

Books so far: (e = explicit, f = folklore, s = sexy/erotic, c = creature/animal)

Bed Time Stories Issue 1 (e)

Ladies of Comfort Vol. I (e)

Ladies of Comfort Vol. II (e)

Ladies of Comfort Vol. III (e)

Lorna the Bard Book I (e,c)

Lorna the Bard Book II (e)

Lorna the Bard Book III (e)

Lorna the Bard Book IV (e)

The cursed Pendant (f)

Cedric's First Journal (e)

Travelling the Roads of Skyrim I (s)

Travelling the Roads of Skyrim II (s)

Brylla the Wild Book I ©

Please check the info.txt for more information!

The "Ladies of Comfort" Series was inspired by "Radiant Prostitution", if anyone wonders about certain aspects sounding familiar :)

"Brylla the Wild" was inspired by "Beastess"

SMUT books V.01b: The new book already was in the works before I did the poll, so it is more of the erotic kind. I tried to cater to the poll so far with the picture :)

SMUT books V.01c: Sorry, still no Comics......

SMUT books V.01d: Still working on the Comics, really!

Working fine, but MO2 stated it was a form 43 plugin - ran it through CK, saved and ok. (was working anyway)

The book near the signpost at the crossroads Helgen/Riverwood - I couldn't find - I have a grass mod that has thick growth about waist high and even chest high all around there. Is it really close to the post?

There is nothing wrong with Form 43. Running mods through CK can and often does break the scripts, so I refrain from doing that anymore, since the game can't tell the difference because it can read several different form IDs.

It seems to me that this mod can help fans of game libraries. I only use quest books and decoration books, but this is an interesting option for real fans. I found another book that I met in the game world. This is a unique book about kindness and an instructive past. I recommend reading a short review https://freebooksummary.com/category/pay-it-forward of the book. Do you remember her game name? This is not a quest book because I have not seen it in the storyline.

Found a wagon near Fort Greymoor with a letter and key about a printing press, but have yet to find it in game around the area or in Markarth (since the diary pointed that way. Was this something that wasn't finished? I tried to find a cell id and that came up empty as well.

There's a "Old Book Manufacture" building near Darkwater Crossing, but some town overhauls overwrite (conflict) it. I use Arthmoor's "Darkwater Crossing" and I've not noticed the building, but I've not looked either. I totally didn't realize that there was a building in this mod before I ESL-ified the plugin, so I'll have to do some checking. It's possible that the    ESL-ification changed the building's mesh/texture id's so they don't work now. I'm looking into it. edit: (confirmed that "Darkwater Crossing" conflicts.)

The best solution would be to move the building to a less "active", area. But since I don't know how to even go about that, I can't do it myself. If anyone else can, I'll be more than happy to add the changes to the mod with full credit to whoever did it.

I'll check out the area and see if it is still there without a town overhaul. Kind of an odd spot for the original MA to put the building since the diary makes no actual mention to any area, which leads one to believe it's close to the Whiterun/Fort Greymoor area.

The note lies on a stone next to the signpost/brazier? If you can't see it open your console and type 'tg' to turn off grass... just remember to toggle it again after...
Sometimes the note clips into the stone... 'tcl' or a reload may be needed.

Can find it now thx - Veydosbrom grass mod had it hidden - I now also use "Unread Books Glow" which makes it really obvious (any book you haven't read yet glows).

They are also spread out around Skyrim and other lands. I used Additem Menu to test them. I use town and city mods so I haven't come across the print ship part of the mod as of yet.

The print shop is at Darkwater Crossing, without any mods that alter the area its easy to spot but if you have a DC mod like Arthmoor's it is there but a real pita to get to the door

If I knew how to edit WorldSpaces, I'd ether move the print shop more out of the way, or make a patch for that.
