household funds are in red minus

after updating my sims households are all in the hole, household funds are -4000.00 to 1,000,000.00 I took out additional funds resaved but still there even reinstalled sims 4 . so cannot play any game.

Could it be an outdated mod causing it?

Move your Mods folder to the desktop temporarily.

Many script mods were broken after the last game update so you will need to update them.

 

Then do an Origin Repair game.

Don't forget to delete your localthumbcache.package in your TS4 folder whenever you add, remove, or update mods or game.

 

Launch game after Origin Repair without any mods and test if back to normal, start a new game if needed.

If game is working proper now just exit without saving, or do a 'save as' whatever, then exit.

 

Re-install main updated mods like WW, Basemental, MCCC, UICheats, etc., and restart game with that 'save as' you made before.

 

CC doors and windows were also broken with the last game update but hair, makeup, skins, and things that make sims look better are probably OK.

reinstalled everything wicked whims whims is current,  deleted several households with this issue , not all households were affected,  game seems to be okay
