Noir Penises Troubleshooting!

Noir's penises seem like the best to me, and especially because they can be colour-matched well with the skins I like. However, whenever my sims bend over with them, this happens... (see attached picture).

 

The whole area bloats out, the penis is often misplaced and the colouring is off. It only happens when I use Noir's penises in WW.

 

Does this happen for you, as well? Which alternatives would you recommend as compatible with RemusSirion's male skin 11? I have tried LunarEclipses' and Simdulgence's as well, but quickly deleted them as they either didn't look as good or worked at all...

Have your tried it without the RS Skin yet?

Could be a problem with the skin as they aren't always made for use with a penis mod.

Or try without any penis mod and use WW default to test again.

Sometimes sims just look strange in the butt area when certain extreme bending positions are used.

I haven't yet. The other skins I have just don't look as good, at least not in CAS. I have tried without a penis mod at least, which resolves the butt issue, but then the penis becomes completely blacked out instead. It seems to me like you have you to use a penis mod if you're using a CC skin, but I suppose I'm still new so I don't know for sure.

Matching the skins 'skin tones' with penis skin tones is a pretty common issue because most penis mods are using maxis match skin tone colors and many skin mods are adding

many more 'other' non-maxis match skin tones.

So yes it's the skins that cause the problem anyway so... 

 

Simdulgence has tried to fix it by adding some extra penis tones that have helped some but it's not 100% because of so many different skins available.

(Been using that penis mod forever now mostly because of the different sizes and better details than the others).

Had my male using a skin overlay sometime back and didn't have any problems but can't recall which one it was ATM.

 

The other way is to use CAS and try changing the EA base skin color first in the faces menu as it does change what the skin looks like when added.

 

One of the main reasons I only use skin overlays on female sims and not males.

 

BTW have you tried using skin overlays instead of actual skins?

Bloody hell, using an overlay fixed it! 

 

I looked at Simdulgence as an alternative to Noir before, but with the RS skin I like it didn't work, and it didn't even occur to me to try with the overlay version instead. However, I just tried it, and the overlay version works absolutely fine with simdulgence, and there is no nasty bloating or misplacement of anything. Noir still has that issue.

Now I have the attention of someone much more knowledgable than myself, there is one more thing I would love to ask, and then I'll shut up: Do you know if it's possible to disable the tongue somehow in WW, or make it invisible/transparent? I've been trying to create completely invisible sims for camera reasons, and so far I've been able to get rid of everything (through transparent CAS items) except the tongue, which persistently floats around during WW.

 

ww.remove_tongue is a command I was made aware of, and supposedly it can temporarily remove the tongue during WW, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Does it work for you? If so, please let me know how/when you type it in.

 

The other alternative is to create a transparent tongue which could be selected through the body selector. However, for an absolute amateur who's new even to just playing Sims 4, and with 0 experience in modding, do you think this is foolish to even try? Is it a very complicated thing to create?

Since the old tongue rig was added/included with WW as part of the 'head' I don't know if it's even possible to remove now.

It's also a WW default so you would have to find a non-default tongue replacement mod that was what you wanted.

Then it has to be selected in game using WW body selector and changed/picked for each sim, some sims, or all sims.

 

I know nothing about modding but this would be something to maybe ask TURBODRIVER himself if a switch or option could be added to make the tongue different or turn it off.

Maybe OK as long as the differences in colors aren't real drastic.

Normally the penis and groin area are a bit lighter in color anyway due to the lack of sunlight in RL, lol.

 

I was also looking for some better skin tones myself but many are not updated anymore so I gave up.

I think there is another command like WW.help that should list all available commands for WW.

Pretty sure remove_tongue only works on the active selected sim but not sure.

Haven't been in game for a few days so maybe I can try it if I remember next time I play.

 

Not a very popular idea for most ppl since so many animations now use the tongue for kissing, licking, and oral sex.

It would make many animations look pretty strange without it and even the FF lesbian animations would look bad.

I actually did, although not as a request. I just asked if it was possible to remove the tongue somehow, and was then given the WW command or the creation of a new tongue as possible solutions. Can I suggest it as content to be created by them? I know there are others who would want want to have it, as well.

Yeah, I'd just like to find some that are a little lighter than the standard ones, but still human. The lighest standard one looks rather tan/brown to me. We'll see if I can find some that work.

EA is planning to add more skin tones this year but they might be leaning more towards the dark side but IDK for sure.

 

Makes me wonder about your color settings for your monitor might be off.

(Don't recall if there are any in game settings for adjusting colors but maybe changing other graphics settings might also help)

 

Standard EA light colored skin tones are way to bright if I go too far towards the (left) lighter shades.

It's the darker tones most people complain about.
