ayan4u Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 The gameplay freezes for about 5 minutes and sims stops moving while the game animations still works; in build mode all game animations still goes on. This happens at least once in every gameplay session. Sim's often resets automatically. Can anyone figure out what's wrong with this? Probably the problem is with broken/outdated mods, though I've updated all essential mods. Check the lastException file. Please help! lastCleanException.txt
Scorpio Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Start with Wicked Whims + Animations only and move all other mods to desktop in a new temp folder. Don't forget to delete your localthumbcache.package file in you TS4 folder whenever you add, remove, or update mods or game. Retest in game but don't make any new saves yet, just exit after testing is OK'ed after each mod is re-installed. Add back Major Script Mods into game one at a time and retest. MCCC Basemental Drugs UICheats etc. Continue adding back mods until the errors start again and you will find the bad mod/s. Many cc doors and windows were broken with last game update. CC hairstyles, skins, bodies, makeup, & clothing are usually OK to leave installed.
