Disappearing tattoo with certain camera angles.

I have a simple issue that I have had for a long time but never bothered to fix
Maybe someone can help

See the arm tattoo here:

 

But if I angle the camera differently, it doesn't render:

Because of the transparent gloves.

Anyone know how to fix that? I am sure it is just some render limit but I don't know on what. Similar issue with lighting, is there an ini setting I need to configure?
