How to install "Being a cow" on Skyrim se

Help please, have spent countless hours trying to get this SINGLE mod to work

step 1. Find the forum sections made for Skyrim SE.

             - hint: is here: https://www.loverslab.com/forum/72-skyrim-special-edition/

step 2. Find the converted version of BAC (if available) and install it using the mod manager of your choice.

             - follow any install instruction for this mod and check that you're also installing its requirements (these also need to be ported versions made for SE).

step 3. Stay away from the MODS menu.

 

In the SE section (linked above) you'll find most of the stuff made for SE (only the Sexlab - Downloads for SE are separated). You should also check the pinned threads, especially the SSE Conversion Tracking, which contains a lot of info about the state of LE mods available for SE (so if there is an existing conversion you'll likely find it there, if there are special steps to convert it yourself that info should be there too, etc.).

I have installed all of the required mods, and this one is still just not working. I have absolutely no idea why it says "cant be installed, files required are present," I have installed every one of them

No idea which mods you mean with "all of the required" ones, but make sure you have ZAZ 8, as some users were missing that because it's not mentioned in the download page. If you still can't install it (I guess that's what the message you mention says, again, no idea what's the full message or which program is giving you said error...) then refer to the support thread for the file you just linked. Chances are you'll get better help there (from the author of the port or other users who have it installed already) instead of people who visits tech support for regular Skyrim.
