The end of the world as we know it

Hi, not a normal LL type query I suppose but I figured I'd give it a shot here.

I have Beyond Skyrim Bruma installed.  (Have had it installed for a long time actually)

the image below shows a situation that I understand, but am wondering if can be helped by some (to me) unknown mod ...

Spoiler

Basically, as you can see, the ground texture and flora fauna are increasingly devoid once you get to a certain distance south east or west of Bruma. I get it, it's not complete, etc etc. Not complaining.

HOWEVER, I've seen quite a few You tube videos showcasing the area (all the way down to and including the Imperial city and peripheral towns/etc, and they are far richer and more complete than what I have. I'm wondering if there's a mod out there that I'm not aware of that helps fill things out.  I don't need additional quests or more NPCs, but I do like wandering.

thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure that's normal and I don't believe there is a mod that add on however I have not manually confirmed so take this with a grain of salt. Also make sure those videos are not from Rigmor of Cyrodil

Thanks for the reply

Nope, it's a variety of showcase videos.  I think the last one I saw was an EpicNate Youtube video, but I've seen others from other video authors that have way more detail than my game has in the southern reaches of Cyrodil near the bay and in the Imperial city.

Why? Are you suggesting the Rigmor adds more detail?

umm yess there is a way to get down there. You have to turn the borders off though. I've gone far south as to reach the priory of whatever it was where the blade guy was at in .  You can't do anything with it, there is litterally nothing of note down there at this point in Bruma. HOWEVER moist videos put out recently by the Beyond Skyrim Teams is WiP mods and are more up to date.
there is a file you have to edit to turn them off though, or get the mod that does it

I can move there. Boundaries aren't the issue. My query was is about the "window dressings" (trees, shrubs, flowers, building bits, roadways, etc). I have free movement already. Take a look at my snapshot

Thank you sfdrake. That is as clear as clear can be. No uncertain ifs ands or buts. Much appreciated.  I can live with it, I just though *maybe I was missing something.

PS> I guess the showcase videos I referenced were made using resources unavailable to the general community.  (at this time)

I havent checked too much but Rigmor of cyrodil is a completly different mod that also seems to add the Bruma part of cyrodil however Rigmor also contains the imperial city. Since they both add almost the same places it is possible to mistake one for the other. Here is the link if you want to check it out https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21566

Thanks, that's interesting.  I might finally try that one, one of these days.
