Hi, I downloaded an armor mod, Immersive Armor, I also downloaded a cbbe conversion mod, and I was having so much fun with this armors, but I found one called barbarian armor, and I thought that I wanted to that specific armor to not have a bra. I been reading a lot of tutorials about how to go with this and after like 20 hours (two days) I finaly was able to kinda remove it using nifskope and copying the archives of that armor that ended with _0 and _1, I loaded it, started the game and the bra was removed BUT the body of my caracter was smaller than normal, I unequiped the armor and my body whent back to normal. I thought maybe is something with bodyslide, I opened bodyslide, build the armor and started skyrim again and to my surpirse my body was alright again BUT the bra was equiped again in the armor, so my question is, what am I doing wrong? if I delete the two files that bodyslide creates the bra gets removed but body is still small.

I'm using Mod Organizer Classic (1.4)

If you can select the bra as a seperate shape then I'd probably use outfit studio instead of nifskope but either would do.

If it's a bodyslide armour/outfit then modify the shape data mesh, that way it will create a bra less version in both weights when you build it in Bodyslide

under CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData find the armour you want to modify (I'd make a copy of it first) then remove what you want and save it. This will now be the base mesh for Bodyslide to use.

for some reason I can't save it, I do that, save, exit, reopen, and bra is still there, I'm using MO.

I was trying to do both, begining with the first one, and when I found out how to do it, continue with the second one.

The one with the shoulders might not work right though, in my version there is not a full body under the armor. (But I was doing this in UUNP, I don't have CBBE in LE)

If it is the same on yours, you may need to go into outfit studio and pull in a new reference body to replace the partial one and resave the nif.

OMG thank you, what did you do? did you just deleted the texture or what?

I erased the texture on the DDS file in GIMP so it paints in game as invisible.

This is also how damaged parts are made, but erasing just parts of the texture.

Example of erased textures to create damaged versions

I can't help you with MO, the only way that can have an affect on doing this is if you're not looking in the right directory as MO creates new ones so as not to change the game files. Where those directories are located you will need to work out yourself, especially if you plan editting parts of your game yourself.

What happens when you try to save it? If you're using Outfit studio you need to Export it but nifskope should be pretty straight forward.

You also might find, with texture set to full transparency (it's not been erased) you will still be able to make out the shape under certain lighting or environmental conditions.
