[HELP]With BodySlide for one armor!

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi, can someone, pretty please, go to their own BodySlide Outfit Studio and take some pictures, like, a couple of pictures, to show me what to do/how to use my bodyslide for this specific armor? I don't understand how to work it like that and I don't get the whole bodyslide department, it's possibly one of the things that I have yet to learn and understand and EVERY YT video is confusing me even further than helping me out. I just want to make this armor fit to my UNP/UUNP bodytype my character is currently using.

The armor is for CBBE, but surprisingly it still works and fits on my character, I just want to make it fit better with the boobs being real and accurate. Example on pics below:

I know the boots having issues due to different body types when not wearing the armor, if I wear the armor the body issue disappears, it happened with other modded armors, too, in the past, I don't mind that. The creator has some pictures about bodyslide but again, it feels really advanced, like, where do I go? How do I do that?

Please, I know some of you here are the classic "go figure it out on your own", and that's okay, but I am asking for help, and specifically for help from those who want to help me out, and that's why my post is directed towards people who want to help. Like, just pictures step by step on how possibly to do that and/or maybe a list of the steps, like:

1. Go here

2. This

3. That

^Yeah, I know you're getting in the mood to troll me, but please, don't. lol I really need help here.

Thanks in advance.

This is the mod:

And I am using this as a base texture, it is standing above the mod in the modlist:

EDIT1: Just to show to you that I am trying on my own but still waiting for help. The person's image has the outfit named in there, in my case, it doesn't exist! Only the Cape and the Heels are there.....Pictures for reference below:

Couple of variations to do so. Make dismember skin partition to body areas, or delete polygons from the body itself.
Assuming you already know how to work in 3d apps like Bodyslide and other 3d software for skyrim armors.
If you dont want to ruin your female body asset in Character assets, than nude body must be the a part of the armor. For instance, your custom nude body mesh can be copied to boots.nif file. That way you can wear separately boots\armwear from the armor with custom body in it and game body would not be affected.Of course you would need to add 32 body slot support for body in Boots in Creation kit armor addon slot also.
My example

If you wish to conceal calves area of the body, just paint dismemberskin data on it ( it would be - 38 for calves) right where it pops, in Bodyslide. Or delete those polygons completely (it depends if your body would be used for another project of this armor).
You can search how to add dismember skin data in Bodyslide on the internet.  Add the same data to boots, so it will be ( 38 calves+37 feet) in ArmorAddon tab Biped Object of Creation Kit. Game engine will visually render only what is painted on dismember skin data + what Priority it has ( 5 - armor, 10 - arms and boots, 15 and so - other parts ) everything else that not falls into this data will be rendered as invisible. That's how vanilla armors works for variable armor mashups in game.

Thank you, very much for this, but I don't understand anything, and like I said on my post, I don't know/never messed with bodyslide, so, all this knowledge is wasted on me right now. Videos and searches online are confusing me even further, I am lost about it. Which is why I asked if someone has the time and the will to boot up their own bodyslide and take some screenshots on where to go/what to do or write it down as a simple to follow list, step by step, in order for me to do what I want, which is not about the boots.

I just want the boobs of my character's body to be accurate with the armor, that's all I want to do, and I can't find the armor in my bodyslide while the person who uploaded it had a picture with it in their bodyslide. That makes me confused even more.

Also, is there any chance to make through bodyslide a CBBE outfit to be compatible and work with a UNP/UUNP and vice versa?

Hmm, yes it can be done as a conversion. I dont remember the process now.

I wrote about gained experience in working with 3d software. What you want to achieve can not be made easily, if you dont know already Bodyslide tool or 3d max\Blender software. It is kinda technical stuff to work with. I dont know if simple screens and comments would work but for Bodyslide tuts you can search on Youtube. At least it can give you the idea to how it can be done or where to go for.
Specifically to adjust breast size - there are also variations how to make this. Using Outfit studio INFLATE brush ( increase mesh vol) on bust area or load reference body > load outfit > conform all, for UNP or CBBE sliders to work and create ur own preset.
or in 3D app where you adjust vertices of the mesh. Again, technical stuff for already experienced people.
Since it has a BS files named as " Val Nightingale Cape " ( that is the name of the armor to look for in outfit tab) it's probably got a slider for breasts already.

Thank you, again, for your reply.

I don't remember if the cloak of Nightingale is separated, if yes, maybe you can try use this body https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10980, probably it solves your problem.

Alternatively, you can tweak this vanilla body to looks similar to your naked body, is quite easy to do, just open it on outfit studio, then load your uunp (weight 0) as reference, conform sliders, delete reference and save as new project. This will allow you to tweak the body on bodyslide.

The problem with this method is that probably nightingale has low poly, so probably will be not so good as your naked body, in some cases you will not able to set big boobs with quality.

I can explain better if you wanna, also is possible add boobs physics.
