Hello guys.

I have a weird issue with my character's arms infinitely melting down, screenshots attached. It happened after I had to reinstall BD's Armor and Clothes Replacer so the immediate thought was that's the reason. But disabling the mod resolved nothing.

I also reinstalled HDT mod, CBBE, even replaced physics body with the static one, still nothing. Also during RaceMenu arms are fine, it starts when in-game.

And it's only the arms, everything else is fine, which is the weirdest part.

Has anyone else had this problem? I honestly can't think of the solution since I've already tried different stuff.

if u disable the mod nothing happes because its a replacer that means that the meshes are still there and even without an esp plugin, the game replaces the outfit so if you really want to get rid of that remove the meshes and possibly the textures aswell,  IMO here is a possible solution reinstall the skeleton if u have custom and run fnis again

Just did it, zero effect.

The outfits replacer is working fine. It's just the arms that are glitching. And it's weird since usually it's the other parts of the body that have issues working. I googled and couldn't even find someone having a similar problem.

are you playing skyrim SE or LE? are you sure the files you installed are compatible for the version of skyrim you are playing - if you dont have any outfit (naked) the problem persist?  because the body and the clothes are in the same file and when you remove your clothes its another file that loads in the game

I also have a very similar problem. the only difference being the hands on mine aren't separated and it primarily affects NPC followers and only very rarely my PC. Also the hair on mine occasionally does the same glitch but horizontally not vertically. Unfortunately it doesn't happen often and quitting to the title screen and restarting fixes it for quite a while so tracking the problem down is probably going to be difficult.

Yeah it's SE and everything is compatible since I'm playing it for a long time. It just happened suddenly. No matter with or without clothes.

However I just found something. It looks like my current preset somehow got randomly fucked. When I choose another model, everything seems totally fine, but this exact preset you can see on the screenshots has the arms problem.

Feels like I'm playing this character so long and have installed/ reinstalled/ uninstalled so many mods during the course of it, now it's a total mess. I even have this thing where different characters I had now have different animations I used when playing each one respectively. Like, one is still using 360 movement while another one can't, but he's still rockin' that Combat Gameplay Overhaul animations I deleted a while ago.

I think the only solution is to start new character, but I'd love to keep my current one.

Are you using HDT hair? It happened to me, but everything HDT-relatable I usually fix by reinstalling XPMSE.

Alright, found the problem.

I'm using KS Hairdos with physics and something glitched, so when the hair is too long (like, below the shoulders), this weird stuff with arms happens. After I change the hair, everything's fine.

That happened with previous versions of KS Hairdos HDT, it's supposedly fixed by now. So check that you have the latest version and build the collisions meshes for the body you're using again.

If it happens while using latest version + recently built collisions meshes (to make sure they're built based on the latest version) you should post which hair styles have the bug. As it might be something to fix in future versions.

Ha! That's my setup too, thanks for that!
