Auto-condom function not working properly

I just recently started playing the with Wicked Whims Pregnancy options turned on. I seem to be having an issue with the auto-condom function and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

 

I have auto-condom use turned on in the settings for every Sim and it works perfectly. Everybody is using them that I've seen without issue. If I click on the condom in my Sim's inventory and select Disable auto-use, that works properly as well. I can re-enable it the same way without any problems.

 

Here's where things get funky. If I click on my Sim while they're having sex and tell them to remove their condom, that works but then the auto-condom function breaks. They will no longer use the auto function afterward. Even if I go into their inventory, click Disallow and then click Allow again, they still won't do it.

 

The only fix that I could come up with is closing the game then restarting. At that point, auto-condoms are okay again.
